Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Somervell County

This was a prefect place for my family and into stay. Located between Glen Rose and Granbury we visited both and had a great week! Great value and will definitely stay here again when we go to the area!!

This place was a gem of Granbury. It is less than a block from the town square. Yet the space is private, peaceful and set up for a fun gathering with horseshoes and a nice private deck with a view of the lake - but right in town! It is also located just across the street from one of the most charming hike and bike trails with gorgeous fountains, sculpture and green space you just don't find everywhere. We thought about a place on the lake but when we stumbled into a live music performance on the square one night we knew being in walking distance means a lot. The place is really well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We absolutely loved staying a this beautiful little cabin. we stayed here for 7 days and Lacey accommodated an earlier check-in. She was very responsive. The house was very clean. We would absolutely stay here again!

Loved this home. Sparkling clean, beautiful, and Courtney thought of everything from phone chargers to sound machines to a well stocked fancy coffee bar to fire logs for the fire pit. Beds are clean and comfortable and the house is perfectly located downtown, steps from the chocolate shop and donut shop! Courtney took better care of us than the best hotel in Hico. Will definitely stay at 315 Center St again. Loved our time there.

We had a great time and would rent again if we needed to stay in the area. It was very quiet and immaculate; love the Granbury area.

This was the perfect home for our multi-family stay with young kids! The house was well stocked with a crib, toys, books and games, and the pool and fishing access were a huge hit. The house was clean and comfortable! Very quick drive from the house into the Granbury town square. We would stay again!

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and myself met there to go to a wedding at a nearby venue and stayed 2 nights. This was the perfect location since we were coming from east Texas and our daughter and son-in-law were coming from the Austin area. Beautiful views and very clean home. The pool was very enjoyable, too. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely recommend this place. We only had 4 people, but the home can accommodate plenty more. Thank you, Jessica. Twin Canyons Ranch was an absolutely beautiful stay. We were staying in Granbury for my college graduation and it housed most of my family, making the day even more special! The house was super cute and clean, just like the pictures. The amenities, like the pool, were enjoyable as well. Communicating with the host was easy and messages were responded to in a timely manner. The only downfall was when it was dark, it was hard for some of our guests to navigate the property and arrive at the house. Google and Apple Maps made it difficult to arrive at the property regardless of which of the provided address’s or app they typed in. But other than that, I would definitely return to stay at Twin Canyons Ranch. We had such a fun and relaxing experience!

A friend and I needed a peaceful place to relax and recharge after dealing with with ailing moms the past few months. It was exactly what we needed. Directly on the lake in a peaceful cove, very private, spacious, and beautiful. Cathy is a wonderful host and I definitely will be recommending this place to everyone and plan to return myself. We didn’t have kids with us, but this would also be a lot of fun for a small family to enjoy!

LOVED this place! Even better than pictured which was such a pleasant surprise. Getting to the airstream was easy, towards the back of the property past the main farm so you feel like you’re staying in the woods. Right when we arrived we actually saw a group of deer running by which seems to be commonplace because we saw them again the next morning. Location is perfect because it’s near everything but honestly there’s so much to do on the farm that you will want to spend a lot of time there! Definitely recommend if you have kids, so many activities were available and my daughter loved interacting with all the animals.

This farm and antique house was so full of charm and couldn’t be a nicer location. Right on the river across from a park. Playground, fire pit, bench swing with a view and more all to ourselves. This would fit a large group but our family and two boys had a blast with the place to ourselves. So easy to get to Fossil Rim and Dino Valley. River access. Entire house was antique and felt very authentic. Helen was great when we had a question or needed help and was very welcoming. Highly recommend! We will be back next time we need a quick getaway, being less than 2 hrs from Dallas.

Fantastic stay! Feeding the goats was such a fun activity, and there’s so much to do on the property. Zoey the guard donkey melted our hearts! Owners were extremely friendly, accommodating, and communicative.

We visited for the total solar eclipse as the property was in the path of totality. The property was exactly as described. The "master suite" part of the property was nice having its own entrance/exit from the other two bedrooms. We took my sister and two nephews with us. Our 4-year old nephew loved having his own big room and bathroom. A pack and play was provided for the youngest nephew - which was appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer/dryer was a nice addition. The swimming pool was also nice. There is an outdoor area to BBQ, however, its a community item so if someone else was using it you were unable. We changed our menu plans so it wouldn't be an issue for us. The river walk was also nice for our dogs. The property is kept up very nice, the landscaping is beautiful and the doggy stations along the perimeter are appreciated. We would definitely visit here again.

My husband and I brought our one and two year old to the farm and they had a blast! The bedroom was bigger than I expected so the pack in play fit really well. There was so much to do around the farm! Helen was very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

This is more than a place yo stay: it is a retreat and a place to reset and recharge. You can pet all the livestock, walk the river, swim, visit the adorable downtown (just a short walk away), or enjoy the peace and serenity from the rocking chairs on the porch. I hope to go back soon!

I was absolutely blown away by the friendly customer service and peaceful surroundings when I booked this place on a whim for a quick weekend getaway from the city. Susan was so very accommodating and obliging. The property is just such a special bit of land in the brazos, you will fall in love and never want to leave. It is immaculately maintained, natural beauty aside. I want to keep it a secret so I can keep returning year after year!

Had a wonderful stay! Kids loved getting to see and feed the goats and pigs! And, waking up Easter morning to the cutest little bunny at our front door was the icing on top! Cute country store on property with amazing local products! Can’t wait to come back!
