Beachfront holiday rental in Somerset County

We had been looking for a private vacation spot on a lake that would accommodate our intergenerational family of 8 and 2 pets for a few years. Sweetwater Cottage was worth the wait! The long backyard and raised screened in porch made for exquisite views of the sunsets while our kids and dogs played. Quiet lake and neighbors made for an equally perfect spot for early morning fishing and afternoon naps while listening to the loons. We caught several bass, lake trout and even a landlocked salmon out on our flat bottom boat, and the kids were endlessly entertained by catching sunfish off of the dock. The provided paddleboards were a favorite. We even paddled out to the small island where we got up close to a Bald Eagle's nest and took turns jumping off the small wooden platform on a rope swing. The house was beautiful and spacious with comfortable beds and a sectional couch that fit our whole family for game nights. Lots of great memories and photos made. We can't wait to return!

The lodge was very well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing, peaceful vacation in a very private setting. Beth and Rob were very responsive to our questions, which were few due to the volume of information they provided. The location is gorgeous and peaceful, so close to the water so that we could enjoy it right out the window, or down at the dock. The weather was too rainy for paddling but we heard the loons. The space is comfortable and Mark had so many nice touches that made us feel welcome. We hope to be back!

Fantastic beautiful surroundings, across from a lakeside park. Quiet and peaceful with friendly neighbors. A-frame perfect for couples or even if you have 1 or 2 kids - there is a loft upstairs. Lots of paths and roads for walking. It was very cozy and comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Heather's charming Airbnb on Moosehead Lake, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the serene beauty of the location and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the cabin. The cabin itself is an absolute gem—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could wish for while retaining a rustic, cozy feel. We particularly loved the spacious deck overlooking the lake, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and watched the sunset every evening. The wood-burning stove in the living room was perfect for those chilly Maine nights, adding to the cozy ambiance. Heather was an exceptional host—attentive, responsive, and thoughtful. She provided detailed recommendations for local activities, dining options, and hiking trails, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Robert’s place is amazing! If you’re looking for a place to feel at home, while away from home, then this is it! My brother & I are here for work & have stayed several different places so far we enjoyed staying with Robert so much, that we booked for another month.

After getting things clean we enjoyed 28 days was not good weather went back to take care of our mothers things was good to have this place to come relax in would rent again even tho it wasn’t cleaned they tried to make things right loved the cabin

The cabin is super convenient for sure love where we were skiing. It was a beautiful cabin with descriptions and amenities listed, and photos provided spot on. We would recommend this for anyone and everyone!

It was a great weekend getaway trip for my boyfriend and I. It was a nice area and relaxing and clam.

Leslie was very responsive and helpful before the trip. The place was even more beautiful than expected. The Google address leads to a few houses before, but the description of the driveway helped us find the right location. It was the perfect location to relax for the weekend.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this charming camp on Webb Lake, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The serene setting was perfect for enjoying the outdoors together. We spent our time fishing on the beautiful lake, where we caught a handful of fish. Kayaking was a highlight as well; the combination of being on the lake, mountain views and beautiful weather was simply magical. The camp itself was cozy and well-equipped, providing a wonderful weekend getaway. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway filled with outdoor fall activities, this is the place to be. We loved the camp. Neat and fresh. Everything we needed. The lake was right there! Beautiful! Reasonable drive to restaurants and other activities. Will be back!

This was a very nice and beautiful log lodger on the lake with its own boat dock. Lots of room, kitchfen was well stocked to serve 12. Quality items, even had spices. There was no TV that We enjoyed not having. Cell reception was ok but did miss not having Wify. Very private and felt very safe at the lodge.

In town to attend a wedding, this house was perfect for my husband and I with our two adult children. The common living areas are downstairs with the three bedrooms upstairs. One full bathroom is upstairs and the other full bathroom is downstairs for convenience. Spacious, clean, and very nicely equipped-the little extras made it easy to see why Nick and Josh are super hosts. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, comfortable accomodations in a beautiful spot. Lots of water equipment- canoe, kayaks, PFDs, more. Easy walking distance to downtown Wilton for restaurants, brewery, bar, grocery store, more. A very pleasant place to stay.

We had a group of 8 guys up for 2 nights with a rafting trip planned. All members agreed that it was the perfect spot for a group our size that intended to grill, sit around the fire, and have a few drinks. The location was super handy with short travel to the rafting companies. If you look at the pictures you will know what to expect. We were pleased with our experience.

Michelle is an absolute outstanding host, her space is beyond beautiful and I wish I could live the rest of my days in that lakehouse. She was more than responsive, and very helpful and generous to us as guests. I hope to book this place again soon, because it’s definitely my favorite- great views, great furniture, and perfect kitchen and deck! Just absolutely gorgeous.

Angel was extremely accomidating for what we needed. She answered always within minutes if something was needed. We would stay here again in a heart beat!
