The cabin is located about 400 meters from Solastranden in Sola municipality. There is a hiking trail down to the beach directly from the cabin. Solastranden offers some of Rogaland's best bathing and hiking opportunities as well as the possibility of kiting and surfing. The cabin has a large sunny newer terrace with a gas grill and comfortable outdoor furniture. The terrace is partially covered so that the terrace can be used in case of bad weather. The home is located right by the hiking trail in Hafrsfjord, where you can walk, cycle or run along the entire fjord where the Viking king Harald Hårfarge won the battle in Hafrsfjord and united Norway into one kingdom. The accommodation is located by the lake, with opportunities for swimming and other water activities. Short distance to Stavanger city center by bus and car. Sleeps 7 adults, one child and two babies in a crib. It is possible to have 8 adults, but then two people must share a bed of 120 cm.

The bathroom has a shower and washing machine, the kitchen is fully furnished with a stove, refrigerator, and microwave. The cabin has a cozy outhouse. The area offers great nature, swimming opportunities and unique hiking trails.
