Holiday rentals with beach access in Smallwood

We had a wonderful stay, the location is perfect for skiing at Belleayre and accessing restaurants as well as other activities. The space is very clean and perfectly appointed. Charlie was always proactive at communicating and available if anything arose. 4-Wheel drive is necessary in the winter - snow removal was always very prompt. We had a great stay and would absolutely go back.

Thomas is a great host! a Very accommodating and generous man. He takes care of anything you need. I highly recommend staying here. The place is beautiful, tranquil and has 100 percent positive vibes. You won't be disappointed!

A great place — perfect size, nice and clean, and a well stocked kitchen. It was great to be able to walk to coffee, dinner, a park and cvs. Would stay again!

What a wonderful stay! Bee was so responsive and hospitable, and shared so much local information to make the best of my family trip. Bee’s home was truly a home away from home. It was stocked with all the essentials and more, and very spacious for my family of 5. Very clean, and had no issues at all. There was a grill and fire pit available for our use as well. The lake and beach were all very accessible as well, and Bee had plenty of beach passes available for us to use. All in all an unforgettable experience, a short summer trip my family will never forget. We will definitely come back!

Ian’s place was magical. So quiet, cozy, clean and a great place to enjoy nature and surrounding country side. Close enough to town, restaurants and other destinations but still far enough to enjoy the countryside side. Ian was friendly, responsive and answered all our questions. He left clear instructions by the entrance and was easy to reach. We even got to meet him in person before we left. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore the Catskills and looking for a weekend getaway.

Had a fantastic time with my boyfriend at Elwira's place! We had to cut our trip short but the time we did spend there was awesome. Elwira was very friendly and it was the perfect location, close to all our favorite spots.

Anthony's place was exactly as advertised, and it was clean and bright. The apartment was fully stocked with everything I needed, it was comfortable, and I felt completely safe there. I would rent it again should I need to stay in the Hawley area, and I would recommend the space to others.

Sean and Hope’s place is a creative and spacious oasis within walking distance to downtown Rosendale and the Rail Trail. It’s very evident the space was designed by imaginative artists with good taste. I especially loved the book-filled office space overlooking the river. Sean and Hope are the perfect hosts; they give complete privacy while also going out of their way to offer unique and fun things to do in the area. They were wonderful to run into in passing.

This beautiful lake house is a lovely retreat from the chaos of the city. We spent the day lounging by the dock, and relaxing in the sun. It was awesome to have a full private bar with your own pool table right in the house!

Loved staying here for a last minute getaway! We had a great time and got done much needed relaxation in. We both agreed that we would stay here again. Great communication and had everything we needed! No complaints and had an AMAZING time!

We stayed at Brain's home on Memorial Day Weekend - great stay overall! Beautiful property in a quiet and serene lake community. The house and outdoor areas could have used a little sprucing before our arrival, but we were likely the first guests of the season and only booked one day in advance. The house can use a few homey touches (sharper knives, more practical shower curtains), but you cannot beat the location or proximity to the lake. The views are breathtaking and the sounds of nature made it so easy to disconnect. Brian is correct that the pictures do not do this place justice and the price is worth the location if you're looking for a getaway.

both Laura and Scott were incredibly hospitable and welcoming to their home. my family and I felt very comfortable and it gave us an immense amount of ease knowing that we could always reach out and within minutes we'd have a response to any questions we could have come up with. the location was absolutely stunning and had breathtaking views. in all honesty, the only thing I could possibly complain about was not having had a second bathroom which is not their fault. I've dealt with a handful of hosts before but never someone as easy and inviting as Laura and Scott have been. we are already looking at our calendars to see when we can come back

We had a wonderful time staying in Kevin’s house. It’s beautiful and cozy, with different places to sit and hang out and very comfortable beds for a good night sleep. Breakfast outside with the sound of the water and a view of Mount Tremper was a lovely way to start the day. Check in was easy and Kevin was very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend the house for a Catskills getaway!

Lauren and Ryan's House was great! A perfect home for our family of four. The train themed bunk beds, darts and shuffleboard, fireplaces, and record player, were all hits. Lauren quickly responded to a few of our questions and made it clear that our comfort was her top priority. If you are looking for a clean, comfy, cozy and safe place by a lake, I highly recommend the Green Light Lodge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again!
