Holiday rentals with beach access in Smallwood

We had a wonderful stay, the location is perfect for skiing at Belleayre and accessing restaurants as well as other activities. The space is very clean and perfectly appointed. Charlie was always proactive at communicating and available if anything arose. 4-Wheel drive is necessary in the winter - snow removal was always very prompt. We had a great stay and would absolutely go back.

Ted's place is really good and clean! My friend and I were able to relax and unwind, getting a much-needed break from the city. The kitchen is also well-equipped, making it easy to cook and feel at home. Plus, the locals are super friendly and helpful, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommend!

Clean, spacious, and close to Belleyare. Dustin was very responsive and left clear instructions.

Enjoyed my stay tremendously. It was like having a snug nest in the forest. Yet, you could hop in the car and visit nearby stores and restaurants in minutes. I especially liked the park that was just down the road where I walked my dog every day. All in all a great place.

Great lake view and very peaceful surroundings. The place was as described and overall a nice stay. Slightly awkward that the bathroom didn’t have a ceiling, but not a big deal. Also saw an otter swimming in the lake!

Great weekend in the Catskills - Ian’s place is clean, well kept and had all amenities needed for a snowy hiking and relaxing weekend. The indoor fireplace was amazing. There is someone else living on the property, out of sight and earshot. Very private, cozy property - the stream in the back was beautiful! Recommend highly!

We had a wonderful stay, even though our visit wasn’t for the happiest of reasons. Rick was fantastic—very responsive and kind, offering great local recommendations that made things easier during a tough time. The house itself was lovely, peaceful, and had a stunning view of the lake. Our kids especially loved the arcade games. Coming back to this serene space each day was a comforting break from everything else. We’d definitely love to return under happier circumstances.

This is our second time staying in this home, and the main reason for our choice is the wonderful host. They are extremely kind, helpful, and excellent with communication, always responding quickly whenever we need anything. The house is in a great location, very close to everything, yet it gives the feeling of staying in a cozy mountain retreat. The amenities were excellent, making our stay even more enjoyable. Once again, we had a fantastic vacation here with our children and are so glad we chose this place again!

We had a few families go in together on the house. We went tubing at Shawnee and had group dinner at the house. We enjoyed the hot tub and stared at the frozen, snow covered lake. It was a great weekend and a good place to hunker down for the weekend.

This place was so nice, comfy and clean. My guest absolutely loved every part of the house and enjoyed the arcade room. It was my daughter’s 2nd birthday and this home was the perfect fit for us to relax and spend time together. Everything was exactly like the pictures and better! I felt right at home and the host were so accommodating and fast at responding. Will definitely be staying again.

Absolutely perfect stay during a meaningful and emotional time. We came to this beautiful lakefront Airbnb to celebrate my husband’s birthday after his passing, hoping for peace and comfort—and it was everything we needed. The weather happened to be beautiful, which allowed us to take out the kayaks and fully enjoy the calm and serenity of the lake. The sunsets and sunrises were absolutely phenomenal—quiet, breathtaking moments that brought so much peace. The home itself was spotless, cozy, and incredibly well stocked with everything we could possibly need—from kitchen essentials to extra linens and thoughtful touches throughout. You can tell it’s a family-owned home, filled with warmth and very well taken care of, which made it feel even more special. It was also very family-friendly, making it a perfect fit for all of us and plenty for all to do. We truly appreciated how kind, helpful, and responsive the host was throughout our stay. We’re grateful and hope to return .

WOW!! We cannot say enough amazing things about our stay. We stayed for the holidays and the snow surrounding the lake was the most beautiful surrounding imaginable. It was so peaceful and we watched both sunrises and sunsets there. Plus there were tons of beautiful swans to appreciate! The house was extremely pristine, decorated beautifully for the holidays, and felt like home. This was such a special stay and our host was so accommodating! We will absolutely be back.

I have been to many places but this house was top notch I'm glad I got to stay there with my family. everyone was very happy with the property. I would like to stay in the summer as well

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. Isaac & Stef were very friendly and responsive hosts and helped answer any questions we had. The house is comfortable with plenty of windows and situated so that it is looking out over the lake. The views and hot tub were a highlight. Would stay again!
