As well as experience the northern lights indoors or outdoors with the fire pan. Possibility for mountain and ski trips. There is also a brand new sauna outdoors. View of magical mountains and sailing into Tromsø city. You can see some of the mountains in Lyngen Alps from the house. Here you can enjoy silence, relaxation, midnight sun in summer and northern lights and Arctic great skies in winter. 10 minutes drive from the airport and 20 minutes by car from the house to Tromsø City center. We recommend the use of a rental car.

The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Gamtunet - idyllic cabin - spectacular location

Gamtunet is a charming old log house with a top modern architectural extension including all commodities. The view is spectacular encompassing the Lyngen landscape from the view to the Ulsfjord to the alpine peaks of Trollvasstind, Sofiatind and the Jiehkkevárri massif. We still have lots of snow in the mountains so it looks like skiing will be good all through May at least.
