Beachfront holiday rental in Skien Municipality

We have had a nice and relaxing stay and the cabin met all our expectations. It had a well-equipped kitchen, a large nice bathroom and good beds. Right by the cabin is the starting point for several nice walks in the mountains and below the cabin there is a small lake with opportunities for swimming and fishing.

Amazing view over the lake. Exactly like described. Access to own catwalk from which you can jump in the water and a rowboat to explore the lake and the three islands. Tranquil nature all Ground. About 90 min drive from Oslo for a daytrip. Grocery shopping possibilities about a 15 min drive away. Nicest holiday home i have been to so far. Absolute recommendation. Would come back any time.

Great, lovingly furnished cottage in a quiet area. You feel immediately comfortable and Anne-Mette is a very attentive, well-prepared and uncomplicated hostess. She likes to give tips on activities and takes time for her guests. I 100% recommend this place!

The cabin and the place are fantastically nice, it was also quiet and peaceful in the area. There are an incredible number of nice walks and a lot you can experience nearby - we were there for a weekend, but should have had a week to explore more. The water just below the cabin also surprised us with a couple of great trout of around 500 grams.

Beautiful place in the middle of nature. The cottage has everything you'll need. Rune is extremely helpful and quick to respond. We felt completely at home. You can catch perch and trout in the lake; there are a lot of blackberries (nice for the pancakes), a blackberry bush and plum tree, delicious! There is a compost toilet and the water from the tap is not drinkable; but there was water in jerry cans ready. You have to assemble the shower yourself (hot water in a container and attach the automatic shower) but has its charm so outside showering in nature

We have some lovely days in the cottage. It was clean, simple, just as a cottage in nature should be (: communication was good, and they were very sweet. Highly recommended

We had an amazing long weekend at Jegertunet! The place was just as described – incredibly cozy and absolutely perfect for us: six adults, four children around 10 years old, and a happy dog. The kids stayed in the pool from the time we arrived until we left, with the slide, hot tub and sauna as big favorites. The porch became our focal point for playing, barbecuing and relaxing in the sun. We didn't need to bring anything at all – everything was in place and ready to go, making the stay extra easy and pleasant. We explored the surrounding area with great trips to both the sea and the water nearby, and the tennis court was used extensively by the little ones. An extra bonus was the nice trip to Risør with the small ferry, and the fun visit to the aquarium that created a lot of joy for the whole family. We can highly recommend both the place and the landlord – here you really get everything you need for a super holiday. We would gladly came back!

Firstly, Jostein and his wife were very welcomming and walked me through the facilities and instructed on all the important details of use! The cabin's location is amazingly situated by the Beach, beautigul view over the ocean, but still private and secluded. The cabin and its interior is bohemian style in its best meaning with equipment to live there, cook and entertain. Outdoors has so many posibilities as the cabin is equiped with lots of "water-toys" SUP, kayak's etc. The toddler will also be safe inside fences, and Jostein had left beach toys out for the little ones. We thrived during our stay and I warmly recommend Jostein's place/cabin.

We had a wonderful stay at Cecilie's apartment in late July 2024! The location in Kragerø can right and easily not get better. When you go out from the building you are in the middle of the busiest pedestrian street in the city with a bustling life and good atmosphere. It is not possible to park in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, but there is short term parking a stone's throw from the entrance so that you can get tired if you come by car. We parked the car in the long-term parking at Rema1000 on Kalstad; where it costs 100,- per day or 500,- per week. From there you can take a bus for 7 minutes back to the city center. The apartment was large, bright and spotless! Really nice with handwritten welcome letter with accompanying snacks and refreshments ;) The balcony was small, but with a fantastic view and enough space to enjoy the morning coffee and feel the atmosphere from Kragerø city that comes to life! All in all we were super happy - one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in! Thank you for us - hope to come back!

The accommodation is quite basic but all needed facilities are available. In addition, nice hosts and fantastic surroundings of the forest and lake. A place worth visiting again.

We thank Kjell for being such a welcoming, generous and chill host. We loved our time directly at the water in front of the fjord. The location in nature is a highlight of its own and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. From the house we could see a fish otter and a seal swimming past. Though being not a sport fisher I did catch a trout and two other fish during our stay right in front of the house. The house has a long and interesting history of its own. It was renovated with love and care to modern standards. We would very much like to come again!

I recommend this place for those of you who want a little cabin trip with my family and pets. This place is very cozy. Me and my son very much enjoy and wish to come back next weekend.

Kristian is a very attentive and accessible host who has created a very intelligently thought out holiday paradise in many parts. Our kids loved the many games and toys. Five out of five stars! It is dreamlike. You have to experience it yourself... The way to the house is very well described by Kristian, also in writing. Who is used to comfortable service of a cab to the hotel should choose another offer, because this house is located in the middle of nature and you have to walk some forest paths or travel over the sea to reach the house. We are grateful that he also rented his boat to us and that we could have wonderful experiences in Norwegian nature.
