From the house there is a view of both Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull.

The house is in a quiet area of the main road with beautiful scenery all around. The house is perfect for families and friends travelling together. It is a perfect base-camp while exploring the south coast of Iceland with all its amazing waterfalls and visiting the magnificent Glacier Lagoon Jökulsárlón.

Please note; that due to a problem with our address in the Airbnb system, the location of our cabin G-24 is not correct on the Airbnb map. Our place is accessible by any car in normal summer conditions. Free car charging.

Our porch gives you a unique view of two glaciers Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. The view of northern lights is amazing from the porch in the winter time. The moss covered lava surroundings are rich with berries and birdlife in the summer time.

Our new cottages are located within 3 kilometers from Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon and 7 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur The cottages were build in 2018 and are designed to be minimalistic, cozy and to enjoy the amazing nature that Iceland has to offer. If you are lucky you might even see the Nothern Lights in the sky on a cold winter night.

Snæbyl Cottage 1

A warm and newly built cottage that is located between Vik and Kirkjubæjarklaustur. It is 28m2 in size and is split into a bathroom and then a open space where is the kitchen, a living room and then a corner where the double bed is. The cottage is by the farm Snæbýli 1 which is the last farm before heading on the mountainroad (F210).

Small Cozy Cabin just 5km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur town. Nearly in the middle between Vik (Reynisfjara) and Jokulsarlon (Glacier lagoon) The cabin is in a unique landscape called Pseudo Craters. "Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
