Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Silves

Isabel is an extremely warm and welcoming host—she gave great recommendations and was so friendly!! The location is great and the backyard pool is amazing!!!

Just back from a lovely few days staying at Ana Maria and Jorge's cottage, who are such kind and friendly hosts. Well equipped, very comfortable and clean and just what we needed for a peaceful few days resting and exploring the Algarve. Going out and about in a hire car, we especially enjoyed visited historic Silves, swimming in the sea at Portimão and the Sunday church service at São Bartolomeu de Messines Church. Highly recommended!

Jose’s place is welcoming, comfortable and very accommodating with thoughtfulness in the details. A great location in the charming town of Monchique. I would love to return one day.

Beautiful Airbnb right in the middle of Lagos, but far enough off of the main drag so it’s nice and quiet at night. Easy parking nearby and just steps from the beaches and restaurants. Maggie was communicative and helpful, and check in was very simple. Wonderful experience.

Joao is extremely responsive and helpful . He was very flexible about check in and out times The Villa is stunning, even better than the photos show, clean comfortable and well equipped. We hope to return soon Thank you Joao

We had an amazing stay at Hugo’s place - definitely one of the best spots in Arrifana! The location is unbeatable.. right on the beach with stunning ocean views and the peaceful sound of waves all day long. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The apartment was super clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Simple but cozy, with all the essentials. Hugo was an exceptional host- very friendly, responsive, and always available if we needed anything. Great communication throughout our stay. The area is perfect for surfing with plenty of rental shops nearby, plus great restaurants within walking distance. Aljezur is only about 15 minutes away if you need supermarkets or extra supplies. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van het huis van Marléne! Heel smaakvol ingericht en super schoon. Alles was aanwezig en het terras is geweldig. Gelegen in een echt Portugees straatje en het is er s'avonds heerlijk rustig als je gaat slapen. Wij komen zeker terug! Dank je wel Marléne voor de goede communicatie en het fijne verblijf!

Beautiful property, and very beautiful room/loft. Relaxing surroundings, very peaceful during the day, nice pool, we were able to swim during the end of May. Host was helpful and responsive. Wish we planned to stay longer!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Carvoeiro und der Wohnung. Die Lage ist für uns genau richtig gewesen und die Wohnung hatte alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Tolle Gegend mit vielen Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen. Danke an Petro für viele Tipps und auch dank an seine Familie ! Wir wünschen alles erdenklich Gute für die Zukunft. Great place right on the sand of a beautiful beach, with a short ferry ride into old town Faro. Ideal location.

Tolle Anlage mit der Möglichkeit auch zum Pool zu gehen. Der Strand ist schnell zu erreichen, ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt! Gerne wieder 😊

The apartment is very well located, near the beach and with many restaurants nearby. The coolest thing is the terrace because of the beautiful view. If you prefer to stay and enjoy time in silence, it’s a great choice. It's also very clean and has everything you need. And the hosts are very helpful and very responsive; we appreciated their help with anything. It’s a perfect place for a vacation.

Encore merci , nous avons passé 10 jours au top. Le logement est très agréable très bien situé. La terrasse est grande et le soleil jusqu’à la fin de journée ☀️ Margarida est très réactive et arrangeante. La piscine est grande et agréable, surtout au mois de mai où il n’y a pas grand monde . Raquel is one of the most communicative and responsive hosts I’ve ever interacted with on Airbnb. The location of this home is unbelievable. I fell in love with Albufeira from the first few hours i was there, and couldn’t believe how well-situated this place was to all the fun the area has to offer. ACs and most amenities worked well. I’m not sure if it’s a design related to homes in that area, but the open bathroom in the master bedroom, including the shower design, seemed impractical. I needed to rearrange items in that area, and wipe the floor/toilet after every shower. The iron was unusable due to a stain on the ironing surface, and risk of damaging clothes. The washing machine was small and not very effective. We needed to do a lot of loads to clean our clothes, then air dry them, but glad we had a washer! Overall, this is a great place, Raquel’s a great host, and i recommend booking, for anyone visiting Albufeira. Great for 2 ppl, but could accommodate a couple more too. Enjoy!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous avons eu une hôte accueillante et souriante. Les instructions etaient très claire, l’appartement très propre et le quartier a deux pas de la mer. Seul bémol, le bruit des travaux en journée mais rien de repoussant. C’était un plaisir !

Aurelia’s house had a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. I especially appreciated the local guidebook on the living room table- it’s clear Aurelia truly cares about her guests’ experience.

Die Unterkunft von Marco war richtig super. 9/10 Punkten - warum: Ich dachte laut den Fotos, dass es das Nachbarhaus ist mit Pool. Wir waren im ersten Stock und eigentlich bevorzuge ich mit meinem 5 jährigen Sohn eine Unterkunft im Erdgeschoss, dass war leider nicht ganz klar ersichtlich. Top war: nicht mal 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, tolle Restaurants am Strand, teurer Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke. Die Wohnung ist super sauber und die Küche hat für Selbstversorger alles was man unbedingt braucht aber auch nicht mehr, kein Nudelsieb und auch keine Zitronenpresse, zB. Geschirr auch minimal von der Stückanzahl (6 Gläser). Marco und seine Mama sind super nett und hilfreich beim Check in, weiters haben wir sie nicht gebraucht, da es nicht unser erster Portugal Urlaub war. Preis-Leistung mit Pool top - kann man nichts ausschließen. Portimão super Lage mit Auto in 50 Minuten in Faro Flughafen und in 30 Minuten in Lagos. Liebe Grüße, Jessica & Family.

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

Le logement était impeccable avec tout le nécessaire ! La literie est comme neuve. Cet appartement est vraiment agréable avec la terrasse qui ne gâche rien :) Possibilité de se garer facilement dans les rues environnantes. Edilene est une hôte très réactive et très agréable. Je recommande vivement :D

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Paulo’s place is a good apartment for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was located outside but still close to touristic areas, restaurants etc. You can easily spend more than a week here. His space was spacious and well-equipped place. We enjoyed ourselves and can recommend! :)

We had a fantastic week in Elisa’s apartment, the view is beautiful! So lovely to see and hear the sea everyday. It’s a short walk into town with lots of great bars and restaurants, we also easily got parked nearby. Elisa was a great host, very responsive and I recommend reading her blog with loads of great recommendations for exploring the algarve. Thank you Elisa!

Très bon séjour dans le logement de Vladimir. Hote réactif, agréable, qui conseille de bons endroits. Le logement était très bien, adapté avec des enfants. Les piscines du parc sont très bien (adaptés aux touts petits et aux petits) avec un snack à côté. Très bon emplacement, proche des commerces et proche des plages. Bref, nous sommes ravis !

We had a fantastic week at Anita’s apartment in Praia da Rocha. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome – Anita and Antonio had left a generous guest pack including ham, cheese, wine, milk, water, biscuits and crisps, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch after our journey. The apartment itself is bright, spotless, and has spectacular views across the beach – which, pleasantly, wasn’t too busy during our stay. The location is excellent, with a great selection of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Anita and Antonio were outstanding hosts – friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure their guests have everything they need. Their detailed information pack was really helpful, and they were always quick to answer any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment – it’s a perfect base for a relaxing stay in Praia da Rocha. Thank you, Anita and Antonio, for your warm hospitality and kindness!
