Cabin was perfectly located. Short drive to Fall Creek Falls. My son got married at the falls and this space was clean, well equipped and beautiful. Perfect relaxing weekend!!

Great place to stay! The house was absolutely lovely—clean, cozy, and full of charm. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to make us feel at home. We really liked the interior design, the comfortable beds, and how well-equipped everything was for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful—perfect for relaxing. Big thanks to the hosts for their hospitality and attention to detail. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Krysten’s cabin was wonderful, amazing area, very peaceful. Cabin was very clean organized, lots of space to put your own items in. Had everything we needed cooking wise, the hot tub was very clean! Sadly I did accidentally break a glass, Krysten responded when I notified her. She was very understanding and nice about it. She always responded quickly, and there was a nice little binder with things close by and some information about the surrounding area! We will definitely be coming back next year!

Such a beautiful place to stay. Well described location to get to with pictures of front gate. Thank you for that so helpful. I had a great and fun stay. The nearby waterfall we went to was beautiful and can not wait to come back to see more of the local nature. The host was extremely helpful with suggestion of sites and very responsive to questions. We will definitely be back. .

This little cabin was a peaceful home base for my wife and I’s hiking trip. It was always a treat to look forward to when coming home in the evenings, we’d cook, sit on the porch with some music and enjoy the hot tub after our hikes. Great place to go if you’re looking for a peaceful, safe respite from whatever busy-ness is in your life. Thanks to the Owners for being great hosts, it was exactly what we needed 👍

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The decor was stylish, the beds and couches were super comfortable, and the hot tub and game room were a blast. The kitchen amenities were much better than at other places we have stayed at before. The high quality toiletries in the bathrooms were a nice touch too! Our family of 5 was very comfortable here and would highly recommend!

Perfect for a quick little get away! Quiet and peaceful place to unplug and relax, especially in the hot tub. Blackstone, indoor gel fuel fireplace, fire pit, games, bathroom essentials and so much more provided. We will definitely be back!! Kassidy was a great host and very responsive with any questions/concerns.

My family did a last minute weekend away here coming from Nashville. The place was great, the interior was very clean and you could tell they take great care in every detail. The kitchen had everything we needed and my kids had a blast with all the games and making s’mores at the fire pit.

The view and large covered porch were the highlights of our trip. Lovely location at the end of a dead end street. We also chose this home for its accessibility… easeful to navigate with a walker and wheelchair. Anita was very thorough in her communications

The cabin was exactly as Mike described it - a rustic retreat. We enjoyed our time with our dog and kids so much. From the fireplace, to the games provided in the family room, everything was wonderful. We hope to come stay again!

This place is amazing. It is quiet and very peaceful. The place looks a lot better in person. Very homey, very comfortable and everything you need and much more. Fresh yard eggs and waffles and cookies and brownies when we arrived. Mr Phil made us a nice fire for roasting marshmallows and s’mores. Mrs Wendy was so informative about Monterey and a very sweet lady. Next time we are in the area we will be sure to stay again.

Perfect cabin, location, and host. It was a great weekend, thanks to Catharine. We enjoyed downtown, hiking, and local entertainment. The cabin was conveniently located to both hiking destinations and the adorable downtown district. We are already planning our next trip and will most certainly book these same accommodations. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful & peaceful stay! Will always remember the little lake house & refuge. My boyfriend and I needed a place to stay for a night after hiking, and Carol accepted our request very last minute, which was extremely kind! She had breakfast in the fridge for us, which was SUCH a nice touch! We truly enjoyed that the next morning. There were chocolates and flowers in the room, and everything you needed to cook if you wanted. The animals were wonderful! We truly enjoyed SugarBaby, and will always remember him! Teddy was precious too! Can’t say enough about Carol and how kind and welcoming she was! We loved meeting her & she was just the sweetest Airbnb host I’ve ever met!!! Adorable and comfortable cottage! My group of girlfriends and I loved staying here to explore Cookeville and the surrounding areas. Elizabeth was responsive and helpful, and the serene backdrop was beautiful! We had all the dishes and spices, etc. that we needed to cook a few meals, and we loved reading on the screened-in back porch!

What a wonderful place to spend time with family! The kitchen and dining room and especially the porch made for wonderful gathering places. Bill was responsive when I had any questions. The housekeeper and her husband were very welcoming and kind! The yard is beautiful. We enjoyed walking the property and playing bocce ball. We selected this property because it was near River Pointe Ranch where my daughter was getting married. It was the perfect place for the whole family to stay.

Head and shoulders above the rest! Much better than the typical Airbnb with five star ratings. This is a true five star rural destination stay, not a stopover getting a courtesy five-star rating. No comparison with the typical highly rated Airbnb - this place is special. The cabins are well made with rustic feel - not old & worn with glossed over touches. Dan & Joann have done wonders with funky & country decor touches inside & out. And the farm is spectacular - mowed shorter grass walking paths, nearby stream, much wildlife. I had a fabulous time with picking & singing tunes each evening with Dan & friends! And I'm no pro, but the whole experience was comfortable, warm & inviting. I have new friends in Dan & Joann - maybe even new family! I'll be back!

We absolutely loved every thoughtful detail that Megan and Terry put into the Yellow Cottage, even down to the WiFi settings! Their warm hospitality made our stay truly special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better escape. The cottage is the perfect cozy and relaxing getaway, and we’re already looking forward to staying longer next time. The surrounding landscape adds even more charm from the tranquil pond to the peaceful porch out back, it’s a serene setting that invites you to unwind. We highly recommend the Yellow Cottage to anyone looking for a restful, well-loved place to stay!

Summer was a great host and we all had a fantastic time! The cabin was great for our friends trip with plenty of room for 3 couples. The boardwalk down to the dock was absolutely magical at night with all the fireflies and frogs! It was a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed and they even provided charcoal for the BBQ and fuel for the tiki torches. We had a great time fishing off the dock and hanging out on the back porch. Great place and we'd happily book again!

We stayed for 4 months during the winter and really enjoyed our time at the cottage. We were looking for a peaceful & quiet getaway in nature and that’s exactly what we got. It was so comfy and relaxing. We loved having our morning coffee in the sunroom over looking the lake. Kitchen is well equipped, wifi was super fast, lots of TV channels. There’s no cell service, but with the fast wifi you didn’t really need it. We were sad to leave! Would definitely come back, and absolutely recommend Melissa’s place for anyone who wants a peaceful escape.

The cabin is really good. We all like it! It feels like visit gramma in summer moments. The interior is beautiful and peaceful.

Absolutely loved the cabin!! Beautiful views from the decks!! We got to do a little night fishing as well as daytime fishing. Brooke responded quickly and was very helpful with instructions finding the cabin!! We will definitely be back for more fishing adventures! We would have definitely used the kayaks if the water levels had been a little higher and if it wouldn’t have rained so much!

We stayed because we needed to be in the area, but this lovely property is a destination! They have created a great family getaway spot in an awesome area of central TN. Ryan was always fast to answer questions!

We had such a good time at Catherine's place. We enjoyed walking the shore, hanging out on the porch with the fire pit, and playing card games in the loft. The countryside surrounding is beautiful and there are many parks in close proximity that offer hiking and other outdoor activities. Our peaceful weekend here was just what we were looking for.
