Cottage dream in Karjalohja by the lake + sauna

A cozy cottage by the lake in Karjalohja awaits you about an hour's drive from the Helsinki metropolitan area. The cottage has a living room, bedroom, sleeping alcove, hallway, dressing room and sauna (approx. 44m2). In addition, guests have access to a guest house with two separate small rooms and sleeping accommodations for up to three. At best, the cottage's facilities are used by 2-4 people during the winter months, but during the summer, even a larger group can fit. Here you can relax and enjoy your own peace.

The shore is deep so you can also easily access the cottage by boat. We have previously had the SaunaCabin on rent and you can find lots of rating for it on Airbnb.

The cottage is located near Billnäs Ruukki, and Fiskars Ruukkikylä with its restaurants and boutiques is also within cycling distance. The wood-heated traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.

A wooden sauna in the cottage and a small pond next to it. In addition to staying in the cottage, you can stay in the Tentsile tent (additional fee 150€/week, booking with the owner in advance). Enjoy the sun on the south facing terrace, bbq on the Weber charcoal grill, calm down in the sauna, read books by the crackling log fire, walk and pick berries/mushrooms in the surrounding forests and bike through the idyllic Täktom village to discover Finlands southern pearl, Hanko.
