Small cozy cabin that my father originally built for hunters. After I graduated from high school I lived in it for 12 years. 2 of which was with my now husband. Small open cabin with loft. Ladder to loft space and two twin beds. Small bathroom. Kitchen. Not much privacy, we live down the road, but are there at least twice a day taking care of our pigs, chickens and gardens. From the moment my friend and I entered we were delightedly smitten with this clean and well appointed home. Jackie’s thoughtful and endearing amenities, from warm to whimsical to incredibly useful, indicated she’d thought of everything. We turned from these lovely touches, spotted the spectacular panoramic view out the living room window and sweetness turned to love for Jackie’s home here at “Four Hills.” Outside, we rested comfortably seated in the vast meadow and listened to the songs of red winged blackbirds, robins, and mourning doves while we watched rabbits explore. Inside we had everything we could possibly need along with many sweet surprises far beyond our expectations. With abundant fluffy towels, bedding and pillows, a well stocked coffee nook, a cabinet with items we may have forgotten and home baked treats in the kitchen, Jackie proved herself to be a super host in the making. This was such a lovely stay, our only regret was that it was for just one night.

Great apartment in a historical building. Our host was friendly and eager to be of assistance. The Airbnb was also offered at an excellent price point. If you’re visiting Deposit / this particular corner of NY, this is a great and affordable option. The unit also had a great kitchen, so if cooking is important to you this is a good option.

This cabin is truly stunning and in a very private peaceful location. Unfortunately it rained the entire weekend of our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor serenity of the firepit and Adirondack chairs .. but the indoor amenities kept us cozy, comfortable and completely entertained. The kitchen is well appointed and stocked with necessary utensils, dishes and cleaners. bathrooms are spotless ( very important to this customer!) and stocked with soft towels, guest soaps and shampoo. Very warm, inviting feel to the whole place. Loved it!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The panoramic scenic views were absolutely breathtaking! The house itself was clean, spacious and incredibly comfortable. The property is truly a dream. Acres of peaceful land with a serene pond and scenic hiking trails right outside the door. We even spotted some wild turkeys, which was such a fun surprise for the kids! Patti was so kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay special. She even left some local goodies in the fridge, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated touch. It was the perfect little getaway for our family and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Our stay was great! My dog and I very much enjoyed the house, and the surrounding area. Mat was easy to communicate with, and very helpful. The wifi was great, and I had no issues working from there. The water pressure in the shower could have been better, but nothing's perfect, right? Overall, a great house, great host, and a very enjoyable stay that I would love to repeat in the future, and that I would certainly recommend to others.
