Holiday houses in Sidama Region

This is a brilliant place to stay if you want a really authentic cultural and eco stay in ethiopia. The manager of the site (Soloman) couldn’t have been more helpful and we enjoyed his company immensely. He provided complementary fruit and bread, organised a coffee ceremony, gave us samples of vegetables grown on site, and went shopping in the local village to buy things we needed during our stay. The 2 hectare site includes beautiful gardens and a stream. We saw a huge variety of birds, butterflies and insects in just 2 days. The house we stayed in was basic but comfortable with a simple kitchen, bedrooms and toilet.

The room was nice and spacious. We really enjoyed our time in Hawassa!

This very well designed house is very clean. All rooms are very big. In the living- and dining room is enough space to meet and talk with other international guests/ travellers. This accommodation is only a few minutes walk to Haile Resort and Hawassa Lake with the Hippo’s. . With lots of security this B&B is for everyone a safe place where you can enjoy Hawassa and a quiet sleep. Ephrem is hosting all the guests like they are his family. Hopefully lots of people will discover this new B&B in Hawassa.

We had a wonderful few days staying at Asna's beautiful guesthouse. The location is perfect quiet and close to the park. Asna took time out to show us parts of her city and surrounding area we would never have found by ourselves. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and accompanied by the delicious smell of roasting coffee beans. We would like to thank Asna and her staff at the guest house and her restaurant for their outstanding hospitality.
