House holiday rentals in Sibiu

We stayed in Freya House for 2 weeks when we were on holiday in Romania with our two older kids. It is a very nice, well maintained house with a very nice outdoor area. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Location is between the amazing Fagaras mountain and a small town. 10 min drive to a Lidl and a daily market where you can shop for local produce. The kitchen is well equipped to cook. Sibiu at 40 min drive has a wide variety of supermarkets with a bigger range. Our host had set up a pool in the garden. That was a nice extra since we hadn't seen it in the description. Situated where it is, Freya House has everything. The nature at your doorstep and plenty of  cultural options to explore at only a daytrip away (2 hrs drive). To have a car available is a necessity. We can very much recommend our wonderful hosts. Available, easygoing and friendly with instructions, advice, hiking routes, information on shops, markets, even home grown food!

We had a lovely holiday in this interesting and individual house. The house had more than enough space for four adults and it offered all we needed. The yacuzzi was great and it was so relaxing to have a bath after a long day. The beds were really good. Ancuta and Codrun were very kind and helpful and responded quickly whenever needed. We definitely can recommend this house🙂

Great place, perfect with families with kids. Private and safe.

The house is a 100 year old home gem displaced from Maramures in the country of Fagaras . The owners and wanted a house with a porch , from which to admire the mountains quietly, regardless of the season . They specifically looked for a place with a great view, The house is equipped and equipped with everything you need, although it is an old house on the outside , on the inside they chose that its property corresponds to the requirements of today so we noticed that the heat pump and underfloor heating was chosen for heating that gives extraordinary comfort. There is also a covered terrace with barbeque and dining area, plus a generous parking lot. Easy access from the paved road, the house is near the route that goes up to VF Moldoveanu . For food the owners have recommended us some restaurants and catering firms that deliver to the location . The town of Victoria is close by if supply is desired from Lidl , penny, Profi . We'll be happy to come back in another season

We had a great time at this location. We had a lot of peace, privacy, a well-equipped kitchen, a beautiful and well-groomed yard where, both our little boy and the dog, could play and run at will. We were welcomed with hospitality and kindness..and we even found a sweet surprise, on the table, in the kitchen. Thanks again to our host, Silviu, and we wish him much success!

I recommend the location ! Everything is gorgeous , extremely clean , gorgeous and heated pool, manicured yard, very nice rooms. It's perfect for a group of 6 people

A very nice place, a cozy house for three couples. We had a nice stay, the owner was nice to wait for us for a late checkin, the house was nice and in a very quiet location, next to the forest. It’s 10 minutes away from Dumbrava Sibiu and 20 minutes away from the centre of Sibiu. We would come back for sure.

We were a group of 8 that needed acomodation to go skiing during the day to Paltinis. The house is a great place to stay, it has everything you need, very well equipped. Dumitru is an amazing host, we felt very welcomed and he cared for all of our needs. The included breakfast is very tasty and consistent, it also included sweets(we received pancakes in one day). I really recomand Dumitru's acomodation, one of the best hosts I ever met.

We had such a lovely time at Iliana's house! Everything was done to make our stay perfect: from small snacks to amenities. Thanks for the kids who were able to enjoy the toys and garden but also for all the outdoor equipment. We would have gladly stayed a few more days!!!

Easy check in, great communication, clean place. Tons of character and a nice grassy backyard for our kids to play in. It was everything we needed. Thank you!

We liked the house a lot. The village is super quiet. Great hiking in the area. Jonas is a very good host, always connecting people. We had some issues in the house (fridge broke down) which were solved quickly. Jonas is owner of the Valea Verde resort in the same village, 5 minutes walk from the house. The resort has a natural swimming pool and a big field to relax. Very nice to have access to this in addition to the house. The bed was very comfortable. All in all we felt at home in Casa Johann and would stay there again when visiting Cund.

First of all, a few words about the place. as it can be seen in the photos, it has a vintage vibe to it but don't think that anything there is old and with poor quality. everything we found in the house was in perfect condition and there was absolutely nothing that was missing for a family of three, kid included, that also wanted some of the meals cooked at home. kitchen and bath were fully equipped. beds were comfy etc. for us, the retro vibe made us feel like we where at our grandparents house and this adds to why this place felt so special. last but not least, the host was very warm and helpful for any questions that we had. we definitely recomend Ms. Elena and will sure try to book this place whenever we are in Sibiu.

Rally nice and clean apartment 5 minutes from the city center 👍🏻👍🏻

The absolutely best place we stayed in. So peaceful and quiet and in the authentic interior in the meantime. You feel like in the museum. And it was interesting to hear, that this apartment previously actually was a museum. Goga was very friendly and gave us a lot of local recommendations despite he was really busy with his household. It was the only place where I felt pity about I didn't spent more time there. Great option for escape from the city. Highly recommend!

The kitchen had everything, nothing was missing. The bathrooms also had everything necessary. The house was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our group had a great time and we stayed a day more than we planned. We highly recommend staying here.

We immediately felt welcome at Maria and Ioan's. Good for us - unfortunately we don't speak Romanian yet - that Maria speaks German. From Orlat you can easily reach all attractions. Shopping on site is also possible. It was a lovely vacation. Thank you and a clear recommendation.

We had a very pleasant stay in this house. The whole house and yard are available for guests. The view of the fortress is perfect both during the day and night. The house was very clean and Michael very friendly host and with lots of advice and directions. It's an ideal location for families with children too, yard to explore, trampoline. You can walk to the fortress, maximum 10 minutes. Thanks Mihai for hosting, we will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely place in Sibiu! Just a few minutes’ walk from the city center, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and comfort. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

Excellent! A small cottage in the city with its own courtyard, what else could you wish for? Victor's place is great value for money, a cute and luminous little house, spotless clean, in a quiet neighborhood of Sibiu. We felt right at home and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!
