Welcome to your cozy condo! Coffee, a basket of goodies, and a relaxing porch swing awaits. Golf anyone? If golf is not your cup of 'tee', enjoy the beach a mile to the right with an Eagle Sanctuary stroll, swimming, fishing, and boating. It's a short walk from the condo to Eagle Pointe Bar, Bistro or Restaurant. Also, it's only 11 miles to I. U. campus. Nestle up to a good book or watch a movie. The deer, squirrels, and birds are friendly neighbors. Kick off your shoes. You're home!
“You will not be disappointed for choosing to stay at Sharon's condo. This beautiful home was absolutely a lot more than we expected. When we arrived we notice how clean and warm the home felt. There was a welcome gift basket on the counter and chocolates on the most comfortable bed. Having the very private back patio overlooking the wooded nature area was very relaxing. The lake is just a few minutes (if that) walk from the front door. And the cable and Roku movie selection was definitely an added bonus. Not to mention how safe we felt being in a gated/guarded community with cameras watching over our vehicle was very comforting. Sharon truly is a perfect example of the Superhost definition. We will definitely come stay at her home again in the near future.”
As the name suggests, this place is Tiny yet a practical space. Just 15 minutes from Crane Naval Base and 30 minutes to Bloomington, this 300 sq ft tiny house is ideal for solo travelers or couples looking for affordable housing for short or long term situations.
“The place was very nice and there were many amenities that made it feel like a complete home. Responses from Matt were always fairly quick and courteous and they were very accommodating to different circumstances. Definitely great for a longer stay and not too out of the way from the city. Overall wonderful!”
Located high on a hill overlooking the historic French Lick Resort and Spa. Charming Craftsman style home, walking distance to the hotel, casino, and downtown French Lick restaurants and shopping. Short drive to Patoka Lake. Well behaved, furry friends welcome.* (see 'other notes' for details)
“Julia and the house were both wonderful. This a very unique time. She offered to waive the fees and cancellations she could if we decided not to go (AirBnB is now back doing that). We were on the ropes about it due to CoVID but after she assured me that no one had been in the house for a few days we decided to drive there for a change of scenery. The house is delightful and both my husband and me as well as our dogs were very comfortable. The only thing I could wish for (I say this to all dog friendly properties) is a fenced in grass area to let them out at night or early in the morning); however with the challenging landscape of hills that would make it tiny in the front or from the back downstairs. Since I am five feet tall I vote for back basement stairs as my head does not have to worry about ducking:) With that being said there is a deck off of the kitchen that you can hang out on without your dogs getting out (it was just cold and rainy). Now that I have let my crazy dog mom wishes go, seriously, you can't ask for a more communicative or friendly host. The special touches are incredible between the fireplace, the local books, tips and menus, the local wine or the hidden fun like the secret bookcase door (find it). We hope to be back when things aren't quite so crazy and a bit warmer. Until then, if during the next few weeks or months (or anytime) and you are within driving distance and just want a change of scenery, this single family, spotlessly clean home may be your way to cure the stir crazies:)”
