Located a short distance from JR Izumo Station, the gateway to the mythical land of Izumo, and in a quiet part of the city away from the hustle and bustle of the station, this hotel is housed in a renovated former ice factory. With its Nordic lighting and designer furniture, it creates a unique space, available for one group per day only. The spacious 42-square-metre living room offers a sophisticated space surrounded by Nordic interior design, featuring a Cassina sofa, a vintage daybed by Mies van der Rohe, and lighting by Louis Poulsen and FLOS. There are two bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and one with a double bed. Each bedroom has a TV, and all TVs are Netflix-compatible with a wide range of on-demand content (maximum capacity: 4 people). Our accommodation is located on the second floor of the VINTAGE building within the ‘& (and)’ complex, which consists of four buildings. On the first floor, you will find the ‘- f u j i e -’ restaurant, while the other buildings on the premises offer bagel, doughnut and crêpe shops, a beauty salon and a patisserie. The bustling station-front shopping area is also within walking distance, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing stay.

Wakatsuki Yoshida Okudake, an auberge where one group per day has exclusive use of the 150-year-old former head merchant's residence, located in the sacred grounds of "Tatara Steelworks".

The manager and chef, Ikenotani, runs the restaurant "Wakatsuki Tea House," where local vegetables, game, fish from the Sea of Japan, and aged beef from Shimane are prepared in a Japanese-French style, and the private suite "Honan," which features a reception room with an Izumo magatama and a private semi-open-air bath.
