“Super nice, very comfortable and quiet spot on the river. Beautiful trees outside to wake up to being snow-covered, an awesome View! Can't wait to stay here in the summer!!”

“This cabin was as delightful as can be. The fireplace just added to the ambiance. Everything was exactly how one would hope it to be. It was a bit wet so we couldn’t explore much, but having the horses and cows as our closest neighbors was great. I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks again for the wonderful accommodation!!! 🙂”
My Home Away From Home is a charming older home. The house is listed on the Wisconsin Historical website, reference number 119772. Built in 1884 by Edward Siedschlag. We purchased it at an estate auction from Arietta Lemke in July of 2002. Arietta was a grandaughter of Edward Siedchlag and lived in the home her entire life. Arietta was a friend of my moms and we went to church together.
“This house is very homey! Beds are comfy and the kitchen is nice and large. The host is very quick to respond and makes sure you have everything you need. Very comfortable stay.”
