Holiday rentals with lake access in Shawano County

My friends and I came here for Memorial Day weekend, and it was the perfect fit for us! It fit us all very comfortably. The fire pit was massive and a ton of fun to be around. The lake is very peaceful, the views were beautiful, and we loved getting use out of the kayaks. Caitlin was very responsive with questions ahead of time and was available during our stay, even though she had everything so perfect we didn’t end up needing her! Definitely would return!!

Our stay was great. With a last minute booking, Stephanie had availablity and was ready for us to get there, same day. We didnt have to cancel our UTV trip and had a great Memorial Day weekend. There was room for parking. A fun little town with a bunch of different food options near by. Areas for fishing and kayaking and was an overall great stay.

My family and I loved the cabin! The place was very accommodating and spacious. We also got to enjoy the lake next to the place for fishing! We would love to come back soon in the future!

We will stay there again next year at the same time or a week earlier if Peg will have us. Hope she lets us know when she opens the calendar for 2025.

This place was perfect for our families to meet up for a quick weekend getaway. Three nice sized bedrooms with super comfy beds, and one room with a toy chest full of kid toys and books! We were able to take our boat with us and the dock worked perfectly for it. Even caught some big large mouth bass right off the dock. Huge grill was super handy for cooking dinners and the kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve used in a while, and it had a stocked coffee bar! All in all, it was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay. The home was so sweet and cabin lakehouse perfect! Beds were comfortable, bedding was comfortable. Extra blankets were available. We wanted for absolutely nothing more! We used everything, paddle boat, kayaks, sandy swim area. Beautiful gas grill with utensils and gas!! That view with a cup of coffee? Priceless! Memories that will last a lifetime!

Loved the quaint artsy and cozy comfortable feel of this colorful lakeside cottage! Gorgeous sunrise view over the lake where a great Blue Heron waded and caught a fish for breakfast at the sandy shore. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen has all the supplies and appliances needed. The decks on two sides of the home provide comfortable seating to watch the water and kayaks and life vests are available to use the water. The downstairs bedroom bed was very comfortable with soft clean sheets. The cottage is near the end off a small road away from any traffic and near a marina. Several restaurants close by and a quaint downtown within 10 min - you have everything you need. We loved our stay and hope to come back for a longer visit!

Some positives- Easy drive to Green Bay, on the lake, fully stocked kitchen and bath, room for larger family, and clean. Would recommend if you want relaxing weekend!

Group of 6 friends got together for the opening gun deer season. We all appreciated the home style, roominess, and general accommodations. Tim was a great host!

I stayed here for 4 days in July 2023 while I was working in Shawano since I did not want a hotel. It was a great place to stay. Super clean property and friendly neigbors. Comfortable house with plenty of parking. Decent lake view from the front of the property and quiet, secluded back yard with a nice deck. Very quiet which was nice since I was tired from working all day. Plenty of room for a few people to spread out and enjoy some time in Shawano.

This lake house was absolutely perfect! The views of the lake were amazing! There was lots of things to do with the game room and games provided inside. The firepit and outdoor area was perfect for a cool night of relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to do some home cooked meals. Plenty of space for all 6 of us to move around. It was so peaceful and quiet. Was a great location to everything we wanted to do and get to. We would highly recommend this property and we would definitely go back and stay again. Alex was a fantastic host and when I messaged a couple of questions he very promptly responded and was very helpful. This was a 10/10 for us!!!

Cute little cabin on a lake. Very comfortable bed. Decent bathroom. Working kitchen. Grill outside. The dock wasn’t out yet when I was there but it must be really cute in the summer. As previous reviewers have stated, this is a collection of cottages close together with some shared outdoor spaces so expect to see people. It was still really pleasant.

Brenda was very available as well as kind and friendly. She accommodated all of our requests and was proactive with managing property while dealing with rain, ice, snow and fog.

Enjoyed staying at Vicki’s place it was just as described. She had very few instructions on what to do when we left, many other places tell you want they want done with the linens and towels and dishes. So I hope we didn’t leave it in a way she didn’t want us to. The place was comfortable and worked perfect for what we went to the area for.

Great place to stay! Loved being right at the lakes rolling waves. The Country market has everything needed and a shout out to the wonderful people who waited on us at the Farm Inn, El Jeffe, and The Stubborn Brothers.
