Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Sharrow

I stayed here with my husband and 2 young children on a visit to Holmfirth to see my best friend. Simon was so helpful and went above and beyond for our stay. He ensured everything was set up for us including an extra bed for the children, fresh bread on the side, and milk in the fridge. Also loved the fresh coffee available. Our kids loved running circles around the the flat and Simon even made a point to say to not worry about the kids running around as his children even loved doing that when they were young. So it was very nice to be in a family friendly place. Even the fresh tulips on the table made us smile. Thank you Simon for a lovely stay!

Beautiful appartment in a lovely location. Beds were comfortable which were much needed after a full day of walking. No issues with parking close to the appartment and the cafe located below is perfect for a yummy treat 🤗 would not hesitate to recommend and will be booking again x

Beautiful apartment right in the centre of Castleton! Lots of restaurants/pubs, small convenience shops, and amazing views right on your doorstep. Marieanne was so friendly and always responsive, and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Definitely will have to visit again next time we’re in Castleton!

What a beautiful place. Simon the host was always in touch before our stay to answer any questions we had and also throughout our stay making sure everything was ok. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is amazing and the setting absolutely beautiful. The accommodation provides everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. The property is private and quiet yet transport links are on the doorstep. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone. It was just perfect for us.

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

We were visiting Buxton for 2 shows at the Opera House & the apartment is perfectly placed for this, being just a few minutes walk away, also the Pavilion Gardens and loads of places to eat & drink. Apartment is beautifully furnished and very well-equipped with pretty, sunny little cottage-style garden to front. The main bedroom is lovely, really comfortable bed. Our friend stayed in the basement bedroom and did comment that it was cold BUT he was very warm and comfortable once in bed. Wish we had stayed longer, if only to take advantage of the huge selection of dvds and books 😊. Thankyou, Heather, Kim and Lorna for a really great (too short) stay.

Lovely little place to stay. I'm glad Emma helped with the directions as Google maps found it difficult, but I got there eventually. There are quite a few steep steps down from the parking area to consider but I'm sure Emma will take that into consideration for others who might struggle there. Communication was top notch and extra info.given for the number of a local taxi service. Lovely room with separate ensuite bathroom. Very peaceful setting. Lovely to hear only the birds in the morning. Only a half mile walk into town with all its amenities.

We had a lovely, long weekend stay at Chert cottage. Great Longstone is an excellent location, with several pubs within walking distance. Beautiful scenery is on the doorstep, with places like Bakewell and Buxton a short drive away. Sarah was an excellent host - she was very responsive and we really appreciated the cake, milk and flowers on arrival. Chert cottage itself was great - very clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need - we particularly loved sitting out in the garden in the evening! Many thanks Sarah, we had a great time.

Lucy’s cottage is stunning! Even more beautiful than the pictures! We had a really lovely time - Youlgreave is a wonderful village with 3 pubs, cafe’s and a little shop, plus being close to other attractions in the Peak District! Fabulous host, brilliant location, beautiful cottage!

Myself, my partner and our dog had a wonderful few days at Bridgefoot cottage, the photos don't do it justice is is bigger than it looks and so cosy. the garden is such a gem our dog loved it, fully enclosed and the hot tub was perfect after a long walk in the morning. Cottage itself was pristine, full of character and had everything we needed so we didn't need to contact the host for anything additional but I'm sure he would have been quick to help if we needed it. We cooked most nights but did order from the Indian (menu in the welcome book) which was a lovely change, we also walked into Calver and had some cake from the cafe there next to the Spar shop which was delicious. Great location with lots of beautiful walks nearby, one starting over the bridge and another if you turn left out of the cottage and continue down the lane you will pass through sheep fields and find yourself at Froggat woods. It truly felt like a home away from home and we would love to return in the future

Carole’s place was just like the photos. It’s close to local amenities and in a great location for exploring the Peak District. Carole was a really communicative host and I would 100% stay again- thank you!

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing stay at Vicky & Alex’s cottage. The house was fantastically equipped and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds with high quality linens. Perfect for a girly hiking weekend away! Thank you so much - we will be back!

Booked this trip last minute and was not disappointed with our choice, the instructions for parking and how to find the cottage was spot on. Less then a couple minutes walk and you’re at all the coffee shops and pubs with a short drive to other villages and all the famous walks.

Although we were later than anticipated arriving. Karl stayed in contact and came back to show us around. Great location and a great place to stay in Buxton

Definitely recommend this apartment. David was super helpful, friendly and accommodating. The flat itself was so clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. It was exactly as listed and very well situated. The view of the Townhall was lovely and staying there over the weekend when it was closed meant we weren't at all overlooked. 5 stars, 100% recommend booking this for any visits to Barnsley.

Fantastic place. Big open space, impressive kitchen and bathroom, good bedrooms, exactly as described with pool table and table football! Very convenient, host was responsive and friendly. Really good 👍

Beautiful place. Very close to the Peak District and things in Buxton.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Shola’s place was great and she is lovely and very responsive. It’s very well situated and very quiet.

We had a fantastic stay at Litton Mill – the apartment was beautifully appointed and had everything (and more) that we needed. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The location is perfect – right beside the Monsal Trail and central to so many beautiful walks and villages. We especially recommend the walk to Monsal Head along the trail, then up the hill by the tunnel to a café with delicious treats and a cosy pub. A truly memorable stay – we’d happily return.
