Relax at this unique and quiet accommodation. Here you can hear the sounds of the sea, but also the silence. Here you can rest your eyes on the beautiful horizon and experience the special light that is completely unique to Varanger. Enjoy the arctic climate, wilderness, here nature is right outside the door. Here you get the feeling of being on the high mountain while seeing the sea. The contrasts are great, the weather and wind can surprise. Here you feel that you are alive. In Skallelv there are ten permanent residents in winter. 32 km to the nearest store.

(N70) Centrally located in relation to nature-based, seasonal activities and for exploration of the Varanger Peninsula, the National Park and East Finnmark. Rowboat, campfire can be used freely by appointment. The host lives in the main apartment on the farm.

The five-bedroom apartment is suitable for families, groups or even private use. There's a great library in the living room. The sled trail runs next to it, from where you can get to Näätämö, Norway, the shore of the Arctic Ocean, Nuorgam or Inari. Day trips are easy to make to the Norwegian side with your own car, e.g. Pykeija, Tana, Kirkkoniemi, Båtsfjord, Berlevåg, Ifjord, etc. You can watch the northern lights from the yard. It is easy to hike in the wilderness of Vätsär or Kaldoaivi. Fishing lakes next door. Guidance if needed.

The apartment is renovated in the year 2017 and it is a part of the bigger building. It is located 400 meters from our home ( and the lake), 18 km from Inari (nearest grocery and restaurants) and 350 km from Rovaniemi. In the apartment you will find all normal facilities and sauna. This is a good place to see Northern Lights and beautiful nature is around you here. If you are interested to see how people really live in Lappland, but you also appreciate your own peace, this place is for you.
