The place is located in one of the most varied areas of the island, about 5 km from the seaside resort of Mosteiros and in the immediate vicinity of Caldeira Sete Cidades. In the village about 250 m away there is a small minimercado with a café. The house is located directly on the hiking trail to the cliffs to Mosteiros and to Caldeira Sete Cidades. Welcome to Castanheiro. Our property is a recently refurbished house built around a century old chestnut tree. A spacious terrace offers a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Bay. It is conveniently located in Lagoa and within a 3 min walking distance to the ocean . A stroll to natural swimming pools will take you 10 min.
