We very much enjoyed having a delicious, home cooked meal and experiencing the Sicilian culture. We helped with making the fresh pasta and a delicious sauce. The meal was plentiful with lots of variety, and Caroline was very kind to accommodate my dietary restriction. Caroline and her husband don’t speak a lot of English but their friend who is a tour guide and speaks excellent English came to dinner and was very helpful with translating. The experience was our best in Catania!

Cooking and dining with Carolina is a must do in Catania! We signed up on our first night and were treated to an authentic Sicilian feast we helped prepare. Carolina and Robert have a warm and lovely old world Italian home with a fabulous upstairs summer balcony and kitchen for warm weather. Both were warm, welcoming, and made us feel like family. I’ve taken cooking classes around the world. This is tops.
