Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Serra

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean, well-equipped with everything we needed, and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood—perfect for a relaxing trip. What stood out most was the host’s responsiveness and kindness (Graca). She replied to our messages quickly and made sure we felt welcome from the start. I strongly recommend booking this place for your next getaway!

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

Ana’s place is charming and comfortable. The view from the back terrace is spectacular. Ana kindly made a dinner reservation for us nearby and supplied us with freshly baked bread for breakfast. She is an excellent host and her place is perfect for relaxing in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We wished we had time to swim at the nearby river pool which looked amazing. Maybe next time! A very nice and relaxing house with everything you could need. The surroundings are super nice and private. Plenty of places where you can lie on the lake and swim.

Rosaria is an adorable, recently renovated place in the montains near Leiria, surrounded by the nature, very peaceful and beautiful. The property is pet-friendly and exactly as described. Steve and Sarah are amazing hosts, and they made us feel very welcome. We couldn’t be happier for choosing their place to spend a few days in the countryside. I recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the city.

We loved our stay!! Joao was very attentive & checked on us a couple of times which I appreciated. Very comfortable home in a great location. We took an Uber from the bus station & walked everywhere while we were there. It was only a few days this time but will definitely be back!

We settled in very well in the apartment from the first day. It is ideally and quietly located near the beach. We liked the furnishings very much, everything is available even for a longer stay: comfortable beds and armchairs, a well-functioning fireplace for cool evenings, a sufficiently equipped kitchen and a small balcony. The communication with Laurinde was straightforward, warm and very supportive. We are happy to recommend the apartment.

What a fantastic stay. The apartment is a block off the beach, but didn’t seem to catch as much tourist foot traffic. The unit was very large and comfortable. The host was very responsive, and greeted us to check in. She also checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a car, and we found street parking right outside the front entrance. We had a marvelous stay and would recommend this unit. 

We had a truly authentic Portuguese experience at Jorge’s! Highly recommend! Jorge and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were so sweet, prepared Christmas treats and gifts for us which we appreciate very much. The apartment is comfortable, pristine clean, very well equipped and centrally located just a short ride away from Leiria. We felt right at home quickly and spent many hours on the patio soaking in the sun and the gorgeous view of the village. It is easy to explore Cortes and the surrounding area on foot. Check out the well designed casa-museu Joao Soares and historic church just next door. It was convenient to have the grocery store within walking distance. We met many friendly locals in the village even tho we did not speak Portuguese. Could not ask for a more perfect vacation. Muito obrigado!!

The house is wonderful :) all the support from Susana and Mr. Nuno was exceptional! Nothing was missing! Extremely clean house with everything you need to spend a relaxing family holiday, close enough to visit Tomar and go shopping and far enough away to be in the quiet of the countryside. For sure, repeating it!!

We had a wonderful stay at Cantinho dos Rizos! It was the perfect spot for a family weekend—peaceful, cozy, and full of charm. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. Highly recommend!

We were extremely well received and received the best instructions and welcome! The interior is comfortable and the garden is relaxing and beautiful. Exactly what we and our 3 dogs needed: a weekend of rest and connection with nature. I highly recommend it!

Casa dos Amigos is the perfect stay for a peaceful escape into nature! Amazing views, cozy and comfort. The space has everything you need. Paula was a great host, providing all the information proactively. Will surely repeat!

I spent a weekend at Margarita's place and had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is clean, bright, nicely furnished, with a large kitchen and outdoor dining area that's lovely in the evenings. It's in a small village so obviously you shouldn't expect everything in the world at your doorstep, but that's part of the point. There's a little cafe in town with Benfica TV (came in handy this past weekend) and a supermarket an eight minute drive away. It was a bit chilly so I didn't spend a ton of time in the pool but in warmer weather, it would be a great place to hang out with friends and relax. Great value for money, excellent communication, easy check in and check out, I highly recommend Margarida's.

a pleasant stay in a very clean house where nothing was missing. An ideal location to visit the sanctuary of Fatima, the caves of Mira d'Aire, Tomar, the castle of Orem and several river beaches. I highly recommend it.
