Rossella is a very friendly, straightforward and flexible host. We felt very comfortable in their place. The apartment is small but offers everything needed for two people. The sloping roof gives the apartment a great charm. Breathtaking and super beautiful is the large, sunny terrace. The sea, despite the second row of streets, is almost within easy reach due to the height of the terrace (3rd floor). Within walking distance are shopping as well as the beautiful village center of Marina di Ragusa with many restaurants, bars and gelaterias. The apartment on the third floor is only accessible by stairs (the last one a little narrow and steep). You should be good on foot - then that's fine. My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

This is hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was perfectly set up for guests - clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The highlight is definitely the balcony, from there you have a stunning view of Catania and Etna. The location is ideal for exploring the region, with Taormina, Noto, Syracuse, Ragusa all within easy reach (1 to 1.5h drive, a car is a must!). The host was incredibly friendly. He gave us lots of tips for the region and communication was very easy. If you want to visit the south and/or east of Sicily, this is definitely a top place to stay!

The apartment is in a great location. The view over Ragusa Ibla from the deck is fabulous! We happened to be there for a festival and enjoyed the fireworks from there. The apartment is modern, simply furnished with comfortable beds, and good towels. For four to gather, we had the kitchen table or the deck. Alex from the apartment team did a very good job of communicating about the location and assisted with parking. They met us and helped us get settled in. The apartment was stocked with coffee, water, and other provisions. A little market is nearby. We really enjoyed nearby Al Gradino 284 Coffee and Wine Bar where we had drinks and snacks on the steps sitting on the provided cushions and overlooking beautiful Ragusa Ibla. All in all the apartment is great.

Lovely old building and a great location

Absolutely beautiful beach location with lovely sand and clear blue waters. Very clean, spacious and well-equipped apartment about 15-20 minutes' walk to the centre of Donnalucata along the beach. We travelled as a couple but would be fantastic place to bring children as sea is calm and fairly shallow. Very responsive host.

This AirBNB is right in the heart of all that Ortigia has to offer, however it is tucked away one street from a main thoroughfare so you can be out and about in literally 60 seconds. Then, you have a beautiful sanctuary to come home to. The furnishing were great, and the architecture of the apartment made you feel like you were somewhere very special. The beds and pillows, all 4 of us agreed, were outstanding. Easy to fall a sleep, and wake up rested. There is a living room and eating area off the kitchen, with gave us plenty of space to stretch out some everyone could get alone time as needed (we love each other, but traveling for 2 weeks internationally... you know how it is). Outside the door is a courtyard with fragrant climbing flowers and palm trees. All the conveniences you need -- kitchen appliances, washer, coffee maker (although you'll want to grab a cappuccino and sit at a nearby cafe). When we come back to Ortigia, we're staying here.

Amazing time at Daniele’s place! The location is perfect to enjoy in peace the best of Sicilian’s underwater. The room is on the top of Daniele’s house, big enough for two and with a fantastic view to the sea and coast. You reach it via outside steps and it is and feels very private. The room is spacious, super clean, with a quirky Charme and the toilet and shower are separated by glass and wood. We found some coffee and sugar on our arrival, which we really appreciated. Daniele is a super host, helping us in any way we asked whilst giving us privacy when wanted. There are two great shops 2 mins drive away, with bakery, cheese counter, sausage counter and everything you need in great quality and price. Pizza resto in the evening or other dishes to take away in the other shop. Of course, the highlight has to be the peaceful, crystal clear sea, full of fish. There is no sand but on the left if an easy walk in into the sea. We will definitely come back, if Daniele has us!

We had a great stay in San Lorenzo. The location by the sea is really nice, with direct access to the beach. We were on the ground floor, which allowed us to fully enjoy the terrace, ideal for meals and moments of relaxation. The accommodation is as advertised, clean and well-equipped for a short or long stay. The environment is quiet, perfect for resting, and communication with the host went well. Note: you need to bring a good mosquito repellent, especially in the evening. Some small details could be improved for more comfort, but overall, it is a very good place to enjoy the sea and the calm.

The apartment is huge and in a great central location. We walked everywhere. It's surrounded by fab bars and restaurants. The view from the small balconies is beautiful and we loved seeing the sea through the sitting room windows when we came in the front door. As someone else mentioned, there has obviously been a water leak at some point which could do with sorting and a couple of other areas could do with some tlc. Overall, we loved the apartment and would definitely stay here again.

A lovely apartment with good facilities and furnishings, wonderfully easy use of a private beach and not too far away to drive to the restaurants and sights of Syracuse.

Thank you so much for such a warm and welcoming stay! From the moment we arrived, Guiseppe made us feel completely at home - meeting us in person and even helping with parking on a busy road was so kind and above and beyond. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches, from the treats left for us to the fresh fruit, it was a real taste of Sicilian hospitality! Guiseppe was always available and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The terrace was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place to unwind. We also loved how close it was to the centre of Noto, just a short walk to great restaurants and the charming old town. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone.

Such a beautiful gem of an apartment! I would fully recommend staying here! We stayed for three nights after we’d just got married in Sicily. The apartment is beautiful and just as it looks in the pictures - the roof terrace is a real bonus! It’s absolutely stunning & a great place to laze under the sun, relaxing in the day or to have an alfresco dinner in the evening. It also overlooks ruins which is super interesting. The location of the apartment is also great - a 2-3 minute walk from the lively fish market & a variety of great restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great place. The owners turned this old farmhouse into a slice of paradise! Very well equipped accommodation, comfortable bed, wonderful garden and pool, very quiet. Ideal location to shine in Baroque Sicily!

This was the best flat we stayed at during our road trip around Sicily! The location was amazing, just a few minutes walk from several brilliant bars (Boats) and restaurants (Davé) in Ortigia. The flat was immaculate, brilliantly decorated and had a very large and comfy bed. Would 100% recommend!

We had an outstanding experience here. Was excellent. Giuseppe was so welcoming and oriented us to the area and gave us recommendations. He really took pride in his and had a great personal touch. The space is very large and airy, I would say here without hesitation in the future.

Tiziana was a great host. The apartment was beautiful, well appointed, and had comfortable furnishings. The apartment is very close to all the local attractions and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to visit. We would highly recommend the unit.

Marta was a wonderful host - extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions. We thoroughly enjoyed this spacious, clean aapartment. Beautiful views of the sea and we loved the balcony. It was situated right next to the lively and fun market with lots of good restaurant choices. Everything was walkable on this gorgeous island of Ortygia. We would stay here again!

A very large complex with large swimming pool and good facilities. We were with 2 families incl. 4 children (9-15 years) there. We had everything we needed to stay there all day. Well-known destinations (Etna, Syracuse, Catania, Taorminar) can be reached about 1 hour.

Great location Comfortable space

The apartment is bright, modern and very well furnished. The landlord was super nice and helpful. The center is within walking distance. Perfect starting point in all directions. The bus stop/bus station is right at the house and can be heard from the terrace. Basically, Sicily has a massive problem with garbage disposal, which is unfortunately clearly visible in some neighborhoods.
