The quiet location on the Gera River on the edge of the Steigerwald in connection with the proximity to the city and the good transport connections offers an ideal starting point for visits to Erfurt and the surrounding area, as well as for hiking and biking excursions. The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

In the state-approved resort of Zella-Mehlis, we have lovingly converted a cosy apartment under the newly insulated roof of the "Villa Anschütz". The villa was built in 1911 by the founding company of the world-famous Anschütz Sportwaffen. Relax in the garden under the 100-year-old blood beech, next to the ancient rhododendron bushes or by the stream. The original beams of the roof truss, illuminated with warm light, make the apartment particularly cosy.

Our FICHTENHÄUSCHEN is located in the picturesque forge field on the Rennsteig, in the middle of the Thuringian Forest Biosphere Reserve. After only 1.5 km you are directly on the Rennsteig and can explore the hiking and ski trails to your heart's content. You can also pass your time on the ski slope, right next to our apartment.
