Viele schöne Seen, Badestellen und Fahrradwege sind ganz in der Nähe und die hübschen Städte Malente, Plön, Eutin oder Lütjenburg sind in 10-20 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Bis zur Ostsee sind es ca. 20 Minuten und ihr seid an den schönen Stränden der Hohwachter Bucht.

Die Country Lodge "Ole Steen" liegt auf einem tollen Naturgrundstück in Tating, nur wenige Kilometer von Sankt-Peter-Ording und seinen weitläufigen Stränden entfernt. Früher wurde der Haubarg als Destillerie und als landwirtschaftlicher Betrieb genutzt. Das Appartement "Carpentry", sowie alle anderen Appartements wurden erst kürzlich komplett saniert. Der Charme des historischen Gebäudes wurde mit hochwertigen Materialien wie Holz, Stein und Metall kombiniert.
