Holiday rentals with beach access in Schaffhausen

Excellent location and super close to the lake and transportation. Bed was super comfortable however the pillows were like pancakes. Great layout with a bedroom, living room, and nice kitchen. Great windows for air flow! I would stay here again.

We enjoyed staying at Patrick' place. It was comfortable and convenient to highways, gas, a convenience store and public transportation. The free parking was a plus. It was clean and had a nice sunset view from the large windows facing the river. The neighborhood was safe with joggers using the path along the river. A few things to consider: The parking space is against a cement wall so keen backing skills are necessary if there is another car in the adjoining space. The surrounding streets are busy and can be noisy at certain times if windows are open but quiet when closed. The restaurant, one floor below was usually quiet but there was a party one night we were there with loud base thumping music until after 10 pm. The kitchen is minimally supplied with dishes, cooking utensils, and glassware. If you plan to cook, plan on providing your own spices, oils, salt and pepper, sugar etc. and extra paper towels if you use the partial roll provided. The refrigerator is a mini fridge.

Heidi's apartment was ideally located, just a throw stone from the lake. The space was well appointed and we enjoyed a lot the spacious terrace ideal for morning coffee but as well for dinner and evenings drinks. Heidi was a gracious host, very helpful and made us feel welcome during our stay. This is an excellent spot to explore Konstance area. We heartily recommend it.

Very nice two-level apartment in a historic house. Nice view of Untersee directly opposite the back door. Very well equipped. Great location in the middle of Berlingen, which is small but has a couple of really nice restaurants, a good bakery and a quality butchers. Marco and Sara were fantastic friendly hosts, with great communication!

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment! The apartment was clean, well equipped and lovingly furnished – exactly as described. We particularly liked the quiet location and the cozy atmosphere that invited you to relax. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful.

Bianca is an exceptional host, very welcoming, very friendly. She and her 2 adorable cats hosted our dog very well as well. We had a pleasant stay, everything is spotless, nothing is missing at the house. The accommodation is a 10 min walk from Arenenberg Castle (I recommend) and 30 min drive from the island of Mainau (beautiful).

Staying with Marie and Jürg was very relaxed. Marie welcomed us and also asked in between by messenger to see if everything was okay in this way. In the fridge we always found fine cheese, Grison meat, herbs, yogurt, butter, jam, milk and juice for breakfast. In addition, there was coffee (machine with pads), fresh breads, cereals and honey. The apartment is quietly located with a parking space in front of the door, very clean, well maintained, and practical. Very nice is the distant view, which you can enjoy in the conservatory from the dining table, an entire window front long. We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back:)

Anne is a nice person with a gorgeous cat! I enjoyed spending time with both of them and I also had an interesting Functional Integration session with Anne. It is true that this place is away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is very quiet here, the local town is a bit limited but it is only one train stop to Shauffhausen which is a lovely town and has lots of eating and sightseeing options. The highlight of the area is the famous Rhein Falls which are only a short walk from the house and are beautiful. You can even go swimming in the Rhein nearby (which I loved thanks to the recommendation by Anne). Also, the world's first self-driving bus trial is happening in the local town so that's an interesting and very unique thing to experience while you are here. Overall this was a very pleasant stay. Irene is very welcoming to listen to her hosts, offered to visit several places nearby. The accommodation is very quietly located overlooking the really nice Rhine. a small corner of serenity. We would highly recommend.

A lovingly furnished apartment with wonderful views of Lake Constance. Ulrich and his wife are super nice and helpful at all times. We had a great time and would book again anytime. The apartment has everything you need and is in a quiet, idyllic location.

I am very satisfied with my experience here! I rented the apartment for my parents who were visiting for a long stay. My mother uses a walker and so she needs plenty of space to move from room to room. Ray's place was excellent for their needs! The layout of the apartment worked very well for them. The amenities were new and high-quality and the clothing washer was a plus. Ray was also very responsive and helpful. He helped them find some cookware and assisted with a problem they had with train tickets. My parents have come to Zurich several times and this is the highest quality home in terms of layout and amenities that they have experienced. Ray was also very responsive and helpful.

The apartment is perfectly equipped, modern and sparkling clean. I felt very comfortable and booked again right away.
