Wow wow wow! What a beautiful place to stay! We stayed in Letizia’s apartment for a few days and I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Coming from busy Rome, this was the perfect place to slow down and unwind. The village and scenery, were stunning, just so so beautiful. Our favourite part of the day was sitting on the balcony and having breakfast with most amazing view. There’s a small beach with a pontoon a small walk away, great for swimming. Cute cafe/restaurant around the corner, great for coffee or a casual lunch/dinner. We rented a car for our time here (an absolute must in my opinion). The village has a small shop but you would need to travel to a supermarket to eat properly. Absolutely recommend this place, Letizia was also very helpful and accommodating.

The house was very comfortable. Spacious and functional. Host available. Pease is lively and very nice, with interesting restaurants, pubs and hiking trails. Worth visiting because it deserves it.

Andrea has built a a beautiful home in a magical place at the very top of a village. He was friendly and responsive, and it was one of the coolest and unique places we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

Everything was fantastic. Such a beautiful and peaceful area and the hosts were very kind and welcoming! Homemade crostata waiting for us upon arrival and even dropped down a fresh homemade cake while we were there. Perfetto!

Our stay at Ellen and Gustav’s place will forever stay in our hearts. It was a transformative vacation, so much so that we now dream of creating something similar ourselves, someday, somewhere. The atmosphere, the energy, the style, the history, and the love that have been poured into this place are perfectly blended, making everything feel natural and special. Of course, there are small things that could be improved, but they are nothing compared to the immense sense of peace and well-being that the house and its surroundings provide. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every view, the silence, the beauty of the night atmosphere, everything spoke to us deeply. A heartfelt thank you also to Bice, the co-host, who welcomed us warmly and was always available and kind. We truly carry this place in our hearts and minds. My partner and I came here as nature tourists after I visited and fell in love with Pettorano sul Gizio during a work trip in May 2023. The accommodation itself was clean and homely, and the views spectacular. We spent a lot of time sitting on the living room balcony watching the birds, and even a wild boar family on the last night! If we were at the accommodation we were probably on the balcony, and we got up at 5am some days to enjoy the dawn chorus. The beauty of this place and its abundance of wildlife cannot be overstated. The town itself is beautiful and we enjoyed the local food and drink on offer from the nearby shop and café. There are many walks to do in the area and local towns to explore. The place was a home away from home and we are sure to return!

Daniel’s place was exactly how it was described! Great location! Close to the square & excellent dining. Daniel was an amazing host! So helpful and ready to help with any requests. It was ideal for an overnight. Communication and directions were spot on! Super value! Highly recommend ☺️

a fantastic quirky apartment bang smack in the middle of an old castle. all 4 of us loved our time there, it's definitely a stay to remember. Ashley, is probably the best host I've experienced on Airbnb.

As a group of 7 friends we had a great time at Raffaella's place. The private villa with the private pool provided us with a good amount of privacy and we could have a great time together, undisturbed. The place is clean with good amenities. Plenty of space to hang out, both inside and outside. Raffaella was super helpful, providing us answers to all of our questions as we've never been in the area before. We can totally recommend her place for a good relaxing time in the Abruzzo area, about 40 minutes drive from the Abruzzo airport. Make sure you rent a car, otherwise the logistics of getting here might be complicated.

Lea and Roland are fantastic hosts, very responsive and friendly. Quiet location, shared kitchen and garden with pool, great restaurants in the area. Very relaxing.

Short stay in a beautiful and peaceful village in Abruzzo. The house contains everything you need and the garden with pool is very well laid out. The owners are lovely people who also own a restaurant in the center, which we recommend you try.

We had a pleasant stay. The listing and its surroundings perfectly match the description and photos. Our hosts were very attentive and available. the pool is very large and offers panoramic views of the entire valley. Beautiful individual parking spot. If you are looking for tranquility in a rustic place but still with a certain comfort, this is the perfect place.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property in Monteleone for our first trip to Italy. The home was perfectly situated, with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, even more stunning than the photos. The property itself was peaceful, well maintained, and a perfect place to relax after exploring nearby towns. Giacomo and his family were very warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches around the home that made it feel cozy and authentic. Special thanks to Giacomo for helping to arrange the return of an item we left behind. Highly recommend!

WOW, is all i can say!! As most of the other reviews have said, the photos of the villa and surrounds do not do the Villa justice, it is truly a special place. We were very late meeting to pick up the keys due to issues with car hire at the airport, but the hosts waited for us with no issues and were very kind and understanding. When we arrived at the villa we were shown around and our jaws continued to drop the more we were shown! Amazing large pool, amazing outdoors kitchen with bbq, pizza oven and sink all covered , perfect for alfresco dining. Lots of little places to sneak away and relax. All the rooms in the villa were spotlessly clean, the bedrooms most with their own balconies and en-suites were a great size. The kitchen was well stocked with all one needs for cooking / cleaning etc, and the added bonus of a laundry room meant to no washing at home! The hosts were fantastically responsive at all times, helping us locate shops / eateries etc. Cant wait to come back!!

Authentic and warm The welcome was exceptional, always available, helpful and filled with kindness. This place is a real paradise nestled in the middle of nature, away from noise and pollution. A peaceful and superb setting where you can immediately feel good. Every moment here has reminded me of the sweet memories of my childhood with my grandparents. Everything was perfect, from interior comfort to the magical atmosphere that reigns here. If you're looking for a place to relax and recharge, don't hesitate for a second! I stayed here in May and the climate was ideal. A true haven of peace where one wants to come back over and over again. If you love nature and simplicity, this is the best place to live them to the fullest. Beautiful and very clean chalet in the very quiet village of Roccacinquemiglia. An oasis for the mind and soul. Waking up to the chirping of birds and immersed in nature is priceless. Convenient location to get anywhere in a few minutes by car. Alessandro is very available and ready to meet every request. Highly recommended!

The house is very well situated between Atri and Pineto, and has a fantastic view of the surroundings, ocean and sunset (probably sunrise as well). Paola and Carmine were extremely responsive and gave plenty of good suggestions. The place is also very well equipped if you’re planning on cooking. The only slight downside is that, being just off the road, you can hear the cars going by when you’re in the garden. But even considering that, the place is great value for money.

Daniela and Andrea were amazing host. They are both extremely kind and made you feel welcomed. Their apartment is so cute and cozy, made me feel at home. The place was spotless and the bed was comfortable. They also had thoughtful touches, like wine (we are not drinkers, but appreciated the gesture) eggs, milk, pasta and home made tomato sauce and so much more. 🥰We had a concern and they were really responsive and accommodating. We honestly did want to leave, that’s how at home we felt. The people in Sulmona are attentive and caring and never felt out of place. If you’re looking to stay at an incredible place, please do not pass on this one. 5 Stars all the way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
