Holiday rentals with a kayak in Sawyer County

This place was absolutely perfect for a big boys trip. The place itself was amazing and had everything we needed. The surrounding area was beautiful and secluded and there was plenty of room outside for activities. Overall 10/10 stay it was the perfect weekend. Alyssa was a great host and did everything right.

This property was perfect and checked all the boxes for our trip. The listing and description matched what they offered. This property was clean, organized and offered lots. The space was great for a larger group of people. We also had a beautiful view of the lake and easy access to get on and off the lake. I would recommend his place to anyone else and would also book here again if we choose to vacation in Hayward again. Thank you for the host for letting us stay here at their beautiful home.

This is a great cabin for a north woods getaway. The location is very private with lots of wildlife. The home comes with lots to do outside and inside and is well cared for. Parts of the home are recently updated. The beds, pillows and couches were all comfy. We enjoyed a dinner out at Pine Ridge on the lake.

Great place, double check the GPS directions AirBnB gives, especially if you are arriving in the dark, but once we got there it was convenient and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Mark’s house was beautiful. It was well furnished. The lake view was beautiful and it was quiet and secluded. Most of the time we felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Mark was responsive and helpful with local restaurant and sightseeing suggestions. The Wisconsin Northwoods never disappoints and Mark’s house adds to the enjoyment.

We have stayed at the Blue Musky multiple times…always great…never disappointed.

This was our second stay and it was just how we remember. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and the location was great. Kids and adult's were entertained and the fishing was awesome. So fun catching right off the dock. Rebekah is super easy to talk with and is very responsive and accommodating! Would highly recommend and definitely looking to stay again in the future.

This was our second stay at this property. We loved it just as much this time as we did the first time. The home is beautiful and the property is peaceful and serene. Makala was prompt and responsive to any questions I directed to her. Our stay went off without a hitch and my family made some wonderful memories. Thanks to Rich and Makala, our time at their property was amazing! We will return.

Perfect place for our quick mini-moon getaway. Nice and cozy on a quiet part of the lake, where I was able to fish off the dock (caught a few including a bass and a northern) while my wife and dog watched while reading a book from the comfy outdoor lounge chairs. The house had everything we needed to cook a few meals and a nice coffee maker for our morning coffee and tea. The house was also extremely clean and everything was in working order. Hayward itself had plenty to do, despite us being about a week early for most of the summer activities. Donna was a very easy host to work with. She reached out prior to our trip with instructions for check-in. She also proactively reached out to make sure everything was going smoothly. We would highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a very nice, dog friendly, stay on the lake.

We had a wonderful visit. The cabin is beautiful and really well designed. Our kids loved the bunk beds, the canoe, the firepit and the boardgames. We loved the peacefulness of the area and the beautiful views.

Rodrigo's cabin is beautiful, located in a peaceful area. Everything was as described. The place was very clean and well kept. We appreciated having access to the kayaks. He also provided a good list of restaurants and hiking ideas. My only suggestion will be to provide a map to locate more easily the cabin. I highly recommend this place to others.

We had a great time staying at the cottage and Brittney was really quick to respond to questions and messages throughout the stay. We would definitely stay again and would recommend renting out both cabins for a larger group :)

We loved staying at Alana’s spot in Hayward for a weekend skiing the Birkie! The beds were comfy, the view was beautiful and we especially loved the fireplace. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect place to get away and relax. We loved the little walk down to the dock on the small, private lake. The fire pit was well thought out and stocked with plenty of wood for tons of s’more’s. Ping pong table was great entertainment. We will be back!

We had a great experience. The house appeared to be new. We were staying there off-season and would love to go back when we could use the lake. Three bedroom and three bathroom was great for everyone. Will definitely keep this place in mind the next time we visit the Hayward area.

Memorial weekend with the family! Had a great time. The house was perfect with lots of charm. Enjoyed days of fishing, kayaking, kids swimming, and just enjoying the view! Made our annual trip up to Hayward which was great as always and only 15 minutes a way! Nights were spent around the fire cooking s’mores, playing Pictionary, and blank slate! Great house and great hosts!

Absolutely magical stay! 🌟 My three friends and I had the BEST time at this stunning lakehouse. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away—the place was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had the perfect cozy-meets-modern vibe. Every detail felt so thoughtful. The views of the lake? Breathtaking. We spent mornings sipping coffee with the most peaceful backdrop and evenings playing foosball, air hockey, and darts in the game room (which was a total hit!). The beds were super comfortable, and everything we needed was right there—from well-stocked kitchen supplies to plush towels. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun.
