Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

A real slice of heaven Protected by the calm of the forest in the heart of the golden triangle, this authentic Périgourdine is located in a magical hamlet 15 minutes from Sarlat. Rare and atypical, this house is my treasure! ⚠️2 adorable cats are to be fed during your stay. Very grateful to the hosts, they sometimes bring back 'gifts' (birds, voles) that are not always appreciated by humans!!! Please remember to bring your sheets, duvet cover and pillowcases.

This atmospheric and spacious apartment of more than 50 m², dating from around 1640, is a wonderful place to stay. Thanks to the authentic, thick stone walls, it stays wonderfully cool in summer. Towels, bedding and kitchen towels are already ready for you, and you are welcome to make free use of our garden and natural swimming pond. And of course: everyone is welcome with us. Welcome to Le Merle. The property is a short walk to shops (patisserie, boucherie, tabac) yet with views of the countryside. At the rear a private jacuzzi adjoins an outdoor entertaining area with undercover dining and bbq. There is a private forest as part of the property. 12 mins from Chateau La Durantie and 10 minutes from Lake Rouffiac to enjoy the watersports! Other villages like Pompadour (for the horse racing) Segur Le Chateau are a short drive.
