Holiday houses in Saunders Lake

We stayed here for my work trip. My daughter loved the duck pond around the corner . We took her on stroller rides there every day. We felt safe with the fenced front and backyard where she could be free to run. The beds were super comfortable!

Comfortable beds, warm and dry location on a very rainy weekend. Downspout may need to be repaired. Nice family feeling in the home. Valerie responded quickly and helpfully to every inquiry. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay. Home is well maintained for its age

We loved everything about the Huckleberry house, and Debra is a perfect host! Very clean, spacious and comfortable, peaceful, beautiful lake view, well-stocked kitchen and hot tub was perfect after a day along the coast!

Basic house, nothing fancy but very cozy, warm, clean, and comfortable. Stayed with my family for a week of work in town and it was very comfortable and great for our little kids. Everything worked and was very clean. One block from the park/playground and very close to a couple restaurants.

We loved our stay at Karen’s Airbnb. Beautiful, cleanly, and she was a friendly host. So much to do in the area and this was a great location. Thank you, Karen. We will definitely be back.

I have travelled all over the world, and can say that The Lodge Below the Falls is a very special place, created with love and deep appreciation for the nature surrounding it. This is a place to reconnect, to create, to rest, to explore, and to dream. The two giant waterfalls above and the pristine stream flowing by, the sauna, and the cozy and comfortable spaces around the woodstove and open kitchen/dining areas offer settings for our busy minds to unwind, and the breath of inspiration to arise. The 22-mile drive to and from town is actually perfect as it is a beautiful drive, and is just long enough to give yourself a chance to slow down and shift gears to a relaxed state of mind. It is a truly rare treat to be able to enjoy such a unique and beautiful space!

This is a beautiful place to stay. Worked very well for our family’s birthday celebration. Would certainly stay again.

This house worked well for our group to celebrate grandma’s 75th birthday. She was in her own room, our tween in another and my husband and I in the master. We appreciated the large couch to watch a movie and the big table for board games. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal and overall we were very comfortable. The house is in a quiet neighborhood that isn’t very walkable, but is an easy drive to nearby beach access and downtown Florence. Taylor was quick to respond to our messages and accommodated an early check in when we arrived before 4pm. Thanks for a great stay in Florence!
