The accommodation consists of a courtyard in front and characteristic underground, very close to the most beautiful monuments of the city including the Romanesque church of San Giovanni Battista in Piazza San Giovanni. Nearby there are also all the amenities including market, characteristic fruit and fish market, ovens, typical shops, restaurants, pizzerias and tourist points.

Access to the apartments is on a comfortable ground floor but the view from the balcony of apartment number 1 is on a high floor (magic of the Sassi of Matera!)

The partition walls are made of frosted glass, but with a touch you can make them transparent so you can appreciate the environment in its evocative entirety. In the Sasso, you can admire the fossil shells that emerge from the tuff, take a shower inside the cave and touch the walls that emerged from the sea a million years ago.
