Get away from it all and experience the boreal forest at a rustic cabin on a working bison ranch at the North end of Turtle Lake. The cabin has electricity, with a hot plate, toaster oven, microwave, barbecue and cooking supplies. There is no running water, but a hydrant is located behind the cabin. The outhouse is a short pleasant stroll , which hosts a forest view. The whole idea here is chop wood, carry water, unplug and enjoy nature.

Lots of space for playing outside in the yard and having bonfires or parking your boat/ quad/ snowmobile trailer! There are a few different lakes that can be visited within an hour and less (Kipabiskau Lake 15 km, Barrier Lake 25 km, Marean Lake 45 km, Greenwater Lake 63 km)!

The Fox Den at the High Hill Homestead

The Fox Den is a basement suite with its own private access and parking located only 1 mile from Iroquois Lake. The 1800 sqft walkout basement offers a view of the beautiful sunrise over the lake every morning. Public lake access and beach are 1 mile away, a very short drive or a leisurely and scenic walk away. If you're up for a drive we have, within 15 miles, 3 regional parks, 5 public beaches, 2 greenhouses and 3 golf courses.
