This wonderful little retreat has a double room, as well as a second two-bedded room, great for children or additional guests. The little ones will surely enjoy exploring the huge yard with plum trees and the barn. The kitchen is accesible from outside. Located close to the walled village citadel and the fortified church - the landmark of the village - the house bears the name of its last owner (the Folberth house). Local, authentic experience you can book while staying here: observe the unspoiled nature surrounding Viscri during a short 2 hour horseback tour with lipizzan horses or take an entire day of and visit another traditional Saxon village nearby, lunch included.

My cosy countryside home is placed in the nicest part of Criț, near the fortified church, on ViaTransilvanica. Viscri is only 15 mins away. Please be so kind to rent it in April only if you like the idea of making a fire. You will have the entire house (2 rooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen) and a small yard to yourself; the place accommodates 4 people. If you have a thing for authentic accommodation and you are not seeking city-like perfection, you will love it here. Biker friendly. Breakfast available.

The guesthouse is located in Saschiz, Mures County – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, connected to the Via Transilvanica and the bicycle route connecting the Saxon villages in the Sighisoara – Târnava Mare area, in the Transylvanian Hills. The location is between the fortified evangelical church and the fortress, in the center of the locality, in an area sheltered from the noise of the European road that crosses Saschiz.

Saschiz 165 is a house dating from 1759, being one of the oldest houses in Saschiz commune. It is located in the center of the locality, near the tower and the evangelical church, UNESCO monuments. The guest house is a sister house restored in 2020-2021 from which traditional elements specific to the Saxon houses in the rural area of Transylvania have been preserved and added.
