Wonderful stay - Frank was very helpful and his place was peaceful safe and clean - everything myself and my elderly parents needed.

What a beautiful oasis 😍 peaceful, relaxing and a real cabin feel! We went there to do some wedding planning and were greeting by a beautiful personalized board and a bottle of wine. The hot tub was a huge hit as well, we braved it at night and it was a perfect addition to the forest feel of the cabin. Liesl could not have executed the interior design any better, evey time you look around you see a new small detail of thought and care. Cannot wait for our next trip to Knysna, we will definitely be back!

Mike was a friendly and very helpful host, he made sure that we found the way to our accommodation and that we had everything we needed. He made us feel right at home in the beauty of the Karoo. We enjoyed the peace and quiet as well as the privacy of the accommodation, we especially enjoyed the "tickle tub". 10/10 stay.

We had a delightful stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and we felt immediately at home.

The missus and I both agree this is one of the most beautiful weekend getaways we’ve experienced, from the moment you open those doors the view takes your breath away. Truly an incredible sight. Early morning coffee in the jacuzzi watching the sunrise was probably the highlight for us. Definitely worth every penny.

Beatrice provided a beautiful stay, a home away from home. She was very proactive with messages and checked we had got in safe etc ☺️ the setting is beautiful with good security and activities for younger kids. Knysna is within walking distance but we chose to drive for personal reasons but everything was easy enough to find. The complex is very peaceful and we enjoyed the space so much! Highly recommend ✨ thank you Beatrice for a wonderful stay

Wonderful little cottage deep in the heart of the Karoo. Four wheel drive would be advisable, since this is about 30 minutes off the main highway on gravel road. But the quietness and Milky Way makes it all worthwhile!

I literally love everything about this charming place! The cottage is so cozy and the view out to the valley is so calming. The patio is in a class of its own, a fantastic birdlife unfolds right before your eyes and there is constant singing for those who appreciate nature, world class! Anel is everything you could want in a host in short! and she bakes absolutely amazing bread! I would love to stay longer here!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful cottage for our family bringing along our two sausage dogs too. Beautiful and peaceful farm, we would have loved to stay longer.

Absolutely loved our stay! Simon did a fantastic job with his cabin, so beautiful! Everything you need. We did surf lessons, and highly recommended to book with Simon, so professional and worth it! Such an incredible experience. 10/10 for Cape st Francis.

It was simply perfect. We enjoyed our stay so much and especially receiving the most delicious choc chip buscuits, homemade apricot jam and coffee! Our fur baby also had a little surprise which was absolutely thoughtful. It was exactly what we wanted and so much more. Just bring some Tabard with you! But an absolute 10/10 😀

soooo;- Hands down, all time favorite staycation destination!!! Everything about the place; the location, the stillness, the cold air and steam inside of that superb shower setup ... its magical! If you need some privacy, personal time to be just by joursef - this is where you go to find the answers. If you're lucky enough to have a cuddle buddy, I'd strongly suggest you try a couple days here. Rest, take the walking trial and snuggle up next to the fireplace at night. Can't wait to return!!! Absolutely magical stay at Hogsback Serendipity! The cabin was spotless, beautifully designed and incredibly cozy with a lovely fireplace. The setting is breathtaking - peaceful and surrounded by nature. Our hosts were amaxing: warm, welcoming, and thoughtful in every way. We highly recommend this gem and will definitely be booking again!

Lyndsay was very responsive and helpful - at short notice. The house was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we did not have time to explore the area but the house was set in a magnificent garden. Very well located for a stop over on our journey from Gqeberha to Durban so as to cut down the length of the drive on the second day.

We love everything about this very special Cabin and had the most wonderful weekend with our friends and kids. It’s even better than in pictures and the views and location just so special. We can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to just get away from it all and go to a very magical place with beautiful views and sunsets. Thanks for letting us enjoy it!

We enjoyed our stay at Martitia's place. The home is surrounded by a beautiful garden, separating it from the main house. The village hub is nearby, with convenience stores, local pubs, and quaint restaurants.

The Coffee Cabin is an absolute gem. Heard the Fish Eagles and other birds throughout the day. The cabin is cozy and so comfortable. Not only was there roasted coffee beans but also every means possible to make the perfect cup of coffee. Inge was incredibly helpful with recommendations and very responsive. I’ll definitely be back!

Our holiday to CT started with a road trip and a beautiful intimate stay at xxxx farm. It’s 50km by dust road into the heart of Karoo (Western Cape). The drive in the mountains is an adventure for the family in itself. Then you arrive at the Farm. On arrival you met by a beaitiful young local family with 4 young kids, who immediately treat you like family. The cottage is on next to their main home which means you feel like a part of their generational Karoo family. The cottage is beautiful, 2 bedrooms, each curated with all your needs. The balcony under a grape vine is an absolute dream setting. The garden, a large area of green grass with all sorts of animals roaming from chickens, 2 giant tortoises lovely dogs and more… the perfect setting for a braai. The braai wood is like fire dust, crackels and burns into perfect ash for cooking… The mornings start with a roosting chicken who awakens you to a Karoo sunrise. The house and setting is perfect for kids and an active family
