Hello! We are Sonia, Elio and our daughter Beatriz. Our goal is to make your vacation unforgettable!! Welcome to our home!! The "Casinha da Beatriz" is located in Santana, land of typical houses, ex-libris and tourist poster of the island of Madeira. They were houses composed of an attic, where agricultural products were kept, and a ground floor with the living area. We rebuilt one of these typical "little houses," dating back to 1950, with all the comforts of today. It overlooks the sea/mountains.

Absorb the amazing views of the northen part of Madeira island, and meet the insides of the Laurissilva by going on walk in "Levada da Origem", located at 100 meters from the house. Near the house there is also a minimarket, where you can meet Mr. José, ask for the local drink, and get to know a bit more about Boaventura.

In order to enjoy and interact with nature in its fullness, we have removed all technologies, namely Wi-Fi and television, from the shelters. Only the reception has Wi-Fi. Our shelters are located within the Funchal Ecological Park, with an area of 8 km2. The Park has several recommended hiking trails, Canyoning, an Enduro MTB trail, among other activities.
