Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem traumhaften Tiny House. Die Ausstattung war hervorragend und es wurde an jedes noch so kleine Detail gedacht, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm gemacht hat. Das Häuschen liegt auf einem wahren Fleckchen Paradies inmitten der herrlichen Landschaft des Alentejo – pure Erholung, absolute Ruhe und ein authentischer Einblick in diese wunderschöne Region Portugals. Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation war durchweg perfekt, genau so wie man es sich wünscht. Besonders aufmerksam fanden wir, dass sie extra für mich glutenfreies Toast besorgt haben. Jeden Morgen haben wir das liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück genossen, ein wunderbarer Start in den Tag. Rundum ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Entschleunigen. Wir können diesen besonderen Ort und die herzlichen Gastgeber nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für diese unvergessliche Zeit.

A artisanal house immersed in nature, surrounded by beautiful mounds where you often see sheep grazing in the pastures. In the immediate surroundings you will find a variety of flora and a thriving ecosystem in which multiple species of beetles, bumblebees, spiders and butterflies are common sight (good indicator of a healthy environment). At sundown - as I am writing in late May with 27°C - you hear the frogs croaking in the nearby puddle which is within the property, and throughout the night, the nightsky is clear of artificial lights, so you can see plenty of stars. There are also, naturally, a lot of bugs in the night, but we didn't have many problems keeping them out of the house, being careful with opening and closing the door. The house kept a perfect temperature during the night, without the need for any heating. Its design is clever and aesthetically very interesting. We had a wonderful time and fully recommend this place.

I had such a peaceful stay here , wonderful location up on the hill with beautiful views. the bed was very comfortable and the room was cozy. I would come back !

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit auf der Country Spot Ranch - die Unterkunft ist klein und einfach, und sehr gemütlich und naturnah. In Porto Covo (7 min mit dem Auto) gibt es tolle Strände, Restaurants und alles was man braucht. Wir waren auch ausreiten und hatten viel Spaß mit den Pferden. Maria hat einen ganz besonderen Ort aufgebaut ☺️

Cannot recommend enough, Peggy and Rupert were extremely responsive, polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment was pristine, as described and in a good location with some really special beaches nearby (15 min walk) From setting up car hire, to restaurant recommendations and parking info, Peggy made everything simple. The apartment was well stocked with all the things you'd need, my only regret was that I didn't have time to finish the book I borrowed off the shelf! We would come back, thanks so much!

Would happily recommend the hobbit house, what a beautiful place to stay. Very peaceful surroundings with cows for company. Like other reviews, would recommend 4x4 or off-road car as the road leading up to the property is uneven but we had no issues in a crossover. Ana and Michael are very responsive hosts and have local recommendations that they're happy to share. There is lots of space to go on walks, beautiful beaches within 30/40 minutes drive and plenty of space on the property to relax.

Die Unterkunft ist definitiv ein Schatz an der Algarve und ein Muss. Die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und motiviert, man hat sich vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist eine Wahnsinns Aussicht samt Privatsphäre in der Natur ohne dabei auf Luxus zu verzichten. Wir empfehlen unbedingt das Frühstück dazu zu buchen. Das war super reichhaltig (Bananenkuchen, Obstsalat, Eier, Lachs usw) alles mit viel Liebe zubereitet sowie flexibel serviert. Bei bester Aussicht kann man ganz abschalten. Einfach Perfekt. Macht nicht den Fehler wie wir und plant während des Aufenthalts dort Ausflüge sondern bleibt da und genießt die Natur. Bringt euch gleich genug Snacks und Abendessen mit. (Küche) Die Fahrt zur Location war eine ganz schöne Wackelpartie und eine Herausforderung für unseren Dacia Sandero Stepway aber sehr langsam über die holprige Piste hin zu fahren war völlig ausreichend. Kein Problem und für so einen schönen abgelegenen Ort wohl wohl normal. Kommen gerne wieder! :)

Wow wow wow. It's not often you stay at a place that is truly magical. The house is perfect, Johann did an immaculate job with it, and it's so beautifully done, it was nice to appreciate the care he must have put into it, and the cleanliness leaves most other AirBnB properties to shame. But it's the outside you're here for (at least in summer) - a stunning view down to the sea at Lagos in the distance, a garden bursting with plants, flowers and wild life. And the pool. I had to get in it every morning and pinch myself that it was real. This place is magical, breathtaking. You could easily spend a week here without going anywhere. But if you need to, the unspoilt beaches of the Algarve are about an hour away (try Castelejo or Bordeira). Monchique is a lovely place to visit with some great cafes/restaurants. Supermarket is less than 10 mins away. The wild storks in their nests on the way from Faro were a pleasant surprise. We did donkey walking with Happy Donkeys locally. We'll be back!
