We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

The house is a fantastic base to visit the ancient cities of LaRaya Luso, marvel at the authentic Spanish and Portugese folklore, hike trough the surrounding wilderness and numerous megalithic remains and menhirs. And not last, also to just relax and enjoy the scenery with and birds flying over while having a local wine and some tapas. Welcome!

Tapada da Raia

Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. The rustic-style house features the necessary amenities for an invigorating holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where even time seems to take longer to pass. Hope you like it!

This property consists of 2 independent bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a combination kitchen and living room. The rooms have no connection to the interior of the house. Cozy country house, set in a serene and natural Alentejo hill with about 4 hectares. In the heart of the Serra de S. Mamede Natural Park, it is surrounded by a wide variety of native flora, such as cork oaks, olive trees, oaks or fruit trees. Crossed by the Sever River and a stream that invites you to take refreshing baths through its numerous waterfalls. It also has two real natural pools, old reused irrigation tanks.

Stairway to the Castle

Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home. Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).No access by car (parking 200 meters away)

Apenas foi incorporada a inevitável modernidade mas nunca entrando em conflito com a sua arquitectura tradicional.

The Haystack

Panoramic View and Jacuzzi Palheiro is located in the village of Sobral Fernando and is a house dating back to 1936, all of which is built in schist stone. Recently restored, it offers a modern, welcoming environment while preserving the traces of times past. It has a Jacuzzi with water that can be heated on the panoramic balcony.

The Barn @ Vale de Carvao

The Barn is in the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, near the Rio Sever, in some of the most unspoiled countryside in Portugal. It feels a long way off the beaten track and is a beautifully rustic, quiet and comfortable place to relax and unwind.
