The urban area is really nera the house and you can enjoy the lovely food in soem restaurants or just enjoy the natural landscape by wlaking around or just enjoy a nice drink in one of the river-fronts. Public transportations are not the best, but you can visit some of the surrounding towns if you are good in making plans... This is my home. I reconstructed it myself. It's full of love...

Eido da Portela

Eido da Portela is a country house, located in Jolda (Madalena) Arcos de Valdevez. 10 km from Arcos de Valdevez and Ponte de Lima. It's 800 meters from the Ecovia that starts there and extends to Sístelo. Considered the little Portuguese Tibet. You can travel it on foot or by bike, appreciating the beauty and freshness of the waters of the Lima and Vez rivers. A house that brings back many memories of an old way of life, in which the labors of the field filled the days. Ancient knowledge baked bread, made wine and wove linen.

Casa de Abbades – Casa da Rita

Country house, Ponte Lima

Perfect for group travelers, families or pilgrims from Santiago de Compostela. Great access, next to the A3 and A27 exits, 1 km from the village center. Nearby are the ecovia, river beach, supermarkets and bakeries. 5 km away: golf course, canoeing and horseback riding. Close to the mountains and the sea. The house is completely remodeled, furnished and equipped. Availability of time for check-in and ease of speaking French, German, Italian, Spanish and, to a lesser extent, English.

Casinha do Terraço - cottage

Quinta da Breia is located a few kilometers from the villages of Ponte de Lima, Arcos de Valdevez and Ponte da Barca. Casinha do Terraço, next to two other houses, is an old accommodation where you can rest and enjoy the farm climate. In a region with mild summers, it benefits from the proximity of the mountain and the Peneda-Gerês National Park, the rurality of the village of S. Paio de Jolda and the ease of access that also allows you to enjoy the wonderful beaches on the coast.

Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.
