House holiday rentals in Santa Cruz County

This large, eclectic house was a fun place to hang out and relax. There isn’t much to do around there (which we knew) and that was perfect for us. We hung out and played pool and polar plunged in the pool and played games and listened to the birds and relaxed. The caretaker was helpful and available. The outdoor hot tub was turned on at our request but it did not get hot at all. It was kind of warm. It was also a surprise to be told we should not flush any toilet paper. Both toilets have bidets but that water is cold! These were fairly minor issues for us, though, and we enjoyed our stay.

Had a mini stay-cation with the family and it was beyond what we had hoped. Absolutely breathtaking views and your private pool and hot tub to "soak" it all in. It is incredibly quiet at the house and you feel like you are the only one on the hill. Everything you need is right there and the couch is even comfortable enough to sleep on. Definitely will rent again the next time a break from reality is needed.

The accommodations where well appointed and comfortable. Fantastic place to stay if you are coming to the area to golf.

Terrific place to stay in wine country! Great location, quiet & peaceful. The best part is the King bed - SO comfortable!!! The hot tub is great in the evenings to unwind & relax. The scenery is fantastic, with unreal views of the stars at night. The back patio is perfect all day long! Shawn, our host, is super responsive and answered any/all questions we had. We had a blast & will visit again!

We had a lovely stay here for a wedding nearby. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful. Lots of wildlife around which was such a treat! Easy to park and access, had everything you could possibly need. A bit far from Safeway type grocery stores but there are nearby markets and coffee shops. Very close to the cute downtown area. Overall a GREAT experience.

Wow! We can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay at the Valle Verde Ranch. We rented the entire property for our family and had the best time. The home is so beautiful, the grounds are enchanting, & the location is tranquil while still being close enough to be walking distance to Tubac’s shops. Douglas & Jerry were so easy to communicate with too. We were so pleased with everything about our stay here!

Very comfortable and roomy home in a quiet neighborhood. The covered porch on the back of the house was a bonus. Conveniently located for visiting Tumacacori, Tubac and Paton Center for hummingbirds. I'd definitely stay there again.

Breathtaking views and generous outdoor spaces from which to enjoy them. This house was a luxurious alternative to individual hotel rooms for three coworkers while we attended back-to-back meetings in Patagonia and Nogales.

This is the third time I have stayed in this house with four friends. We keep coming back because the house and location work so well for us on our annual retreat. You can walk to most everywhere in town, yet the house itself is very quiet with a nice back patio and a well equipped kitchen. Also very good hiking.

We stay here a few times a year. The house is great, location is great and Jill is a great host

My family and I absolutely loved Trina’s place. We stayed in Sonoita during my brother’s ultra marathon and it was in a great location. The property was beautiful. It was in such a quiet and peaceful location. We spent so much time sitting outside. It was also the perfect size for the 6 of us and our family dog. I highly recommend Trina’s home if you want a quiet and peaceful getaway. I was not ready to leave this place. If I ever find myself back in Sonoita will definitely stay here.

Darlene’s home was lovely! It was very peaceful so quiet. It is the perfect spot for bird watching and star gazing! She had everything ready for us and a lovely gift basket of wine and fruit! I will want to stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

Christopher was incredibly responsive and easy to reach. His communication was fast, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The house itself is in a great, central location, making it easy to find and access everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful. The house was well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to prepare meals for our group. The living room was perfect for our evenings spent watching western movies with the family. There was plenty of space for our group of five adults and one little dog, and we never felt cramped.

Great place. Quiet just you, the birds and border patrol! Lots of history… coming back next year. Hope it snows again

We enjoyed our stay at Celeste’s casita. The place was well appointed with kitchen tools and stocked with extra items in case we ran out of that item…such as paper towels. The place is painted a lively and lovely Southwestern/Mexico feel. Although w gave Celeste and her casita 5 stars, there are a few things to know. The kitchen is small so a stove top was eliminated, instead there is a two burner hot plate. We did use that for the first 4 days…was tricky getting used to cooking on the hot plate. There is also no garbage disposal so we made sure to empty out the sieve in the sink. The parking is good with a rock lined driveway. Their restaurant is across the street and gets really busy so people park their cars on our side of the street. A relief to have a delineated parking space, I appreciated all the communication with Celeste. She was prompt in answering questions. The bed was comfortable which made for a good night’s rest. Beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere! It was close to all the wineries. The house is beautiful inside and out! The host was very kind and helpful!

Beautiful modern home and layout! Perfect for a weekend or longer in Arizona Wine Country. Very relaxing surroundings and tons of stargazing when the clouds are away. Plenty of space for our group of 6 and the beds/bathrooms/kitchen were all spotless and clean. The local host, Heather, is very friendly and responsive and easy to communicate with. I have stayed in several different locations in Sonoita/Elgin and would definitely recommend to stay here again.
