(We'll visit the nearby waterpark next time!) For families or groups up to 6, this is the ultimate Sandakan base. The combination of generous space, premium comfort, and heartfelt service creates unforgettable stays. We're already planning our return - that's the highest recommendation we can give!

It was a the best place to stay. Had wonderful resting here. The host vry responsive & helpful. provide a parking so tht i no need to worried about my car. Breathe taking view from the house, cold cozy place. will definitely repeat when i go back to sdk again.

We had a great stay at Jing Yee’s apartment. The space was open and airy with ample towels, pristine bed linen and a selection of (much appreciated) snacks on our arrival. A small hot plate or induction stove would be the only addition we’d suggest in the kitchen. The apartment is in a great location, though it is a few minutes out of town - we hired a car so this wasn’t an issue for us but without a car, you’d certainly need to hire a Grab to get to/from the apartment. That said, staying at Kingfisher was a lovely reprieve from the bustle of the town centre.

The homestay at Amalina is very clean, excellent, and conveniently located near the city center. The atmosphere is just like in the pictures. The view from the 13th floor is stunning. I highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to relax while being close to the city. The cleanliness and great service make it an excellent choice for both short and long stays. Will definitely return!

We liked a lot this place. Host is very polite and responsive. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious. Safe compound. We didn't walked around the zone a lot, but it's not far from some interesting places. Only thing we didn't like is the wifi in this area of Sabah, very weak connection and low speed. At least the data reception is good, so just hotspot yourself. Thanks Eugene!

Decor was interesting. Convenient location nearby to restaurants and amenities. Minor hiccup at check in but Brandon resolved it fairly quickly. Nice to have a pool available at the premises. Wifi was slightly patchy at times.

The place was really nice, clean, spacious, and very aesthetic!! The host also gives clear instructions. However, please ready depo of rm200 and they said will return 2days after check out. I check out on 2 June but until today 6 June, i still did not get my depo back. When i follow up they said will follow up, but no action yet.

The places was brilliant, clean but it not close to city. The host was a great host and was always helpful and quick at responding to any questions. Would 100% recommend!

Giek Eng was amazing. The place we had originally booked was missing a washing machine which was important for a family of four. As I was in Sandakan already I contacted her last minute abd she graciously accommodated us. The hand only was fast but clear. Apartment was well located in the newer part of sandakan, local supermarket Bataras with many local kopi tiams and aircon places for breakfast. Nice local bakeries, dessert parlours and restaurants. Giek Eng’s apartment was exactly like the photos, well supplied with laundry detergents, toilet rolls and bottled water. A real home from home. It made our trip a most enjoyable one. Thank you again Giek Eng, will be booking you if we are back again.

Jasmine’s place was great and ideal for us as a group of 4 adults and 1 child. The aparment was specious, clean and had all needed amenities, also the pool was wonderfull during/after a hot day outside. Jasmine was always very responsive and friedly. We would really recommend this place! 😊

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The place was spotless, beautifully furnished, and located in a very convenient and safe area with stunning views. Thein was an excellent host—very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommended.

Spacious apartment with great view of a nearby floating village from the living room and balcony. Working AC in the bedrooms. Appreciated provision of free coffee, shower gel and shampoo. Snacks, drinks and laundry powder available for a reasonable fee. Not much within walking distance - Grab/Maxim recommended to travel to shops and restaurants. Great hosts, responsive and helpful. Would stay again.

The host was very friendly yet very attentive to our needs. If you stay in Sandakan, this is the place you should stay. You will not regret it, trust me! 5 star hospitality. Thumbs up for the host. Keep it up
