Holiday rentals with a pool in San José Island

The house was even better than in the pictures. It was extremely clean and smelled fresh. There was nothing that you could want. Lindsay thought of absolutely everything… from the coffee bar, cold water, lots of welcome goodies, laundry detergent, everything you’d use in the bathroom including new tooth brushes if you forgot yours, and even ear plugs in the bedside stand if you need them to sleep. There was every type of charger you could use, a blue tooth speaker, lots of family games to pass those rainy days. I loved how new and organized everything in the kitchen was. I can’t say enough about Lindsay’s home and how nice and accommodating she was. If you get a chance to stay there, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful, new, well decorated, and clean home! Everything is provided except beach towels. The home is within walking distance of the grocery store and about a 15 min walk to the beach. It was our first time to Port A, and we loved the warm, soft waves with close parking. Unfortunately, a few of the kids got stung by jellyfish, which is the only thing negative about any of these TX beaches. But we didn't have any problems with tar balls this summer as we did last summer at South Padre. We paid an extra $50 per day to heat the jacuzzi size pool (think square instead of rectangle bc one end is very shallow that's not swimmable but more for sitting) in the backyard, and it was very nice warm water after our beach outings. Tina was very easy to communicate with, quick to respond. She left us a nice welcome gift basket of treats (chocolate, gummy bears, pack of mini cookies, trail mix, water, wine bottle), which was a nice surprise. You couldn't get a better host!

We had a great stay! The house was exactly what we needed—spacious, clean, and comfortable. Jessica was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to check in early when we arrived at the beach ahead of schedule, which we really appreciated. The A/C worked really well and kept the house cool throughout our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals in, and the layout made it easy for everyone to relax. With 3.5 bathrooms and plenty of hot water, our group of 12 had no problem getting ready after long beach days. Beach towels were provided, and the in-house washer and dryer were a huge bonus—we didn’t have to take sandy laundry home. The fast internet was a lifesaver for keeping the kids entertained after the beach. Overall, a very comfortable, well-equipped place—we’d absolutely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Purple Parrot. It was our first time to Port A and we will definitely be back!

Had been looking forward to this stay for months and it was exactly what I expected. Super cute, everything we needed, cite shops near by and grocery store… Plenty of restaurants in Rockport or near by in Port Aransas. Very nice peaceful stay, my boys loved the cowboy pool, lots of laughs in it and was a great added touch. The yard is pristine and nice seating outside. Provided beach chairs and beach toys so that was great. Very pleased with our stay, relaxed a lot which was just what I needed.

Deanna's place was cozy for our bigger group to rest after a day at the beach! There was enough pillows and bedding for everyone which is always a plus. We enjoyed our stay here! Cute place

Host (Josh) was very quick to send out a pool guy to clean the pool when we got there. He sent his pool guy out within the hour after we notified him that the pool was “a little cloudy”. This was really the only issue we had while staying there. Everything is centrally located and the home itself is kept in “Pristine” condition! We would definitely recommend this rental home for a small family.

We had a great stay. The pool was conveniently close and was a big hit with our daughters especially since the beach was very windy and had many moon jellyfish (although not super dangerous we found out). The house was really well suited for families, clean, and comfortable.

Wonderful condo! Great location and the condo had everything we needed. It was large enough for us all to spread out and have our own space. The beds are super comfy and the master shower is amazing. We loved being right next to the walkway to the beach and right across from the pool. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. One of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in.

We enjoyed our stay. Down the street was a market where we picked up groceries to save on eating out. Beach was easy to access. We only used the chairs provided but other beach essentials were on site. I had no questions because everything was communicated clearly with signs and a binder. Even a place for sandy shoes outside. Neighbors in building and throughout complex were quiet and respectful. The balcony had great views!

The “Carmel” was exactly as advertised. We had a great time staying. Very comfortable for a small group. Very gracious hosts, they provided great details of the area and about the place so nothing was left unanswered. I would definitely recommend and book again!

Beautiful condo, kids loved their beds, everything was amazing. Hosts gave clear instructions had no problems with checking in or getting into the pool. Over all amazing!

Wow! This was the best trip by far! I am so happy I got to experience very special memories with my grandpa and son. We are already planning on our next stay! Met every expectation! Thank you!

This was our 3rd time staying at Eveline’s place. Great downtown location with a great view of the beach. We always have a great time when we go and create memories with the family. See you again next summer!

Great place to stay, easy and close to everything else! Great spot!

This was the perfect place for a weekend escape to the beach. The location was great. easy to find and walkable to the beach. The beach this condo is on allows cars to drive on the beach and tailgate, so be aware of that. Wasn't an issue for us though. Shower worked great, bed was fairly comfortable, and room had everything in working order. I would definitely recommend this place!
