A blissful cottage in nature.

PrakharRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It's a beautiful home with nature surrounding you. The owners are very helpful and kind and live right beside. Keep in mind that the place is quite away from the city, cafes, shops, etc. There is no driver coming to pick up but they can drop food from apps. You can rent a scooter from the owner to make it easier but it still takes time to go to the city. If you're okay with all of that, then this place is absolutely amazing!

Sunset and Stargaze Cabin in the Forest

I had such a wonderful and peaceful stay here. P’mong, P’Ging, and the host’s lovely mom made me feel like family and even cooked delicious homemade meals for me, truly some of the best food I had in Thailand. The host was always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed, which made me feel so cared for. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature: far from the city, but still close to the airport, with transportation available if needed. You’ll hear and see insects everywhere, but that’s part of the charm and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an experience to get out of the city and enjoy nature.

Baan Nai Suan, Slow Life in the City

The little wooden house is wonderful. The Ratana family is very hospitable. We spent three dreamy days in Chiang Mai. There were also two cute little dogs. We picked the mangoes from the tree right outside the door and enjoyed the huge and beautiful courtyard. We will definitely come back and stay for a longer time!

We stayed here for 3 nights, the accommodation is quiet, and there is a 7-11 convenience store nearby, very convenient, and the room is fully equipped. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reach the city, which is more suitable for guests who drive or ride motorcycles. Will be back again.

Chiangmai Gem: Uphill Cabin near Local Village

VivianRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a beautiful stay this was, located in a quite remote and high up mountain area. The resort itself was beautiful, the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. The drive up to the place is a stunning off-road drive through the jungle. However, be prepared for high transportation costs—around $120 USD per round trip—as only specific taxis can handle the difficult road. We ended up paying an additional $350 in USD just to get in and out of the resort. It’s best to stay put once you arrive. The food was great, though restaurant hours were limited (closing by 8 PM), which made it hard to eat after late excursions. Our room had a lovely view, but wasn’t fully sealed, so bugs were an issue at night. Overall, a wonderful experience for those seeking a quiet mountain escape—just plan ahead for logistics and be prepared for additional costs and timing getting in and out.

From the moment my friend and I arrived we were taken care. Staff carried our bags into our room. We were also able to enjoy the pool prior to our room being ready. The hot pot dinner was delicious. Also the breakfast was very healthy and appetising. I highly recommend anyone looking for a peaceful oasis in Chiang Dao.
