Rosa and her husband are the gorgeous hosts. The place is a wonder: the house and its location are perfect for those of us who are looking for tranquility and to disconnect. I have already chosen the Llosa de Fombona two years in a row for my vacation.. I will definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful stay, and only wish we had time to stay longer. The hosts were amazing!! And the views and countryside ambiance were perfection. The hosts made wonderful recommendations for eating and hiking nearby; they even generously started us a fire on a cool evening. The apartment was humble, but perfectly clean, well equipped, and had modern amenities. The beds were so comfortable and clean. Perfect! I was also able to work in both the apartment and a beautiful sun room on the main property. Wifi was sufficient for me to work remotely. 10/10 would recommend to others, and I hope to someday return!

Maria is an excellent host, very good communication and always attentive to any need we had. The accommodation is spectacular, tastefully decorated, quiet and very pleasant. The surroundings and views are beautiful. This is a great place to relax and unwind. 100% recommended.

It was a pleasure staying at Marga's house! Ella and Miguel was super friendly and helpful. The house is very well located, there are many green areas around and the cities are also quite close. The house itself is very cozy and the truth is that the garden and terrace are perfect for disconnecting without leaving the house.

Beautiful little house at the foothills of the Picos de Europa, in a very quiet hamlet. Neat, tidy, picturesque, with all the necessary amenities. Very close to the Bulnes funicular and trails. Be mindful of the narrow streets and ways and limited parking. Everyone in our party was similarly pleased. Juanjo was very helpful.

We went for a weekend, and choosing this place couldn't have been more successful! I think the house is perfect, both in terms of aesthetics and performance. Nacho and Patricia's treatment and welcome are spectacular! Adapting to our schedules and caring, even when we gave 10 minutes' notice before we wanted to eat something from their bar! I'll definitely be back 😊

Wonderful stay in beautiful nature.

Noelia is a fantastic host. The refrigerator wasn’t working when we arrived. She immediately arranged a brand new one the following day, meanwhile she arranged for us to put our stuff in the fridge next door. The location was perfect for surfing, Ribadisella and Vega beach close by. Also mountain walking in Picos at your doorstep. The house has a perfect lay-out. Cosy and warm with enough wood for the fire place. The only ‘small’ drawback was the many smelly sticks with (in my opinion) horrible stink throughout the house. But we immediately put those outside. Thanks Noelia. Hopefully we’ll be back sometime.

We had a wonderful stay at Pilar’s charming little house on the hill. The view is absolutely stunning, and the house is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed cooking at home and having dinner on the terrace while watching the sunset — a truly peaceful experience. We traveled with three adults and two toddlers, and Pilar kindly arranged two travel cots for our twins. They fit perfectly next to the bed in the master bedroom, which made things so easy for us. From the house, you can see Playa de la Ñora, and it's just a few minutes’ drive downhill. You can also walk to the beach if you prefer a bit of a stroll. Pilar is a very kind and thoughtful host, and communication was smooth and pleasant. When we are in Asturias again, we would love to stay here once more.

A beautiful house in the mountains, the place is surrounded by nature, it is wonderful to disconnect and be calm. The house has everything: for cooking, for watching TV, for showering and bathing, for breakfast outside with stunning mountain views, heating and hot water that works very well. Elena was very kind from the start and explained everything we needed. To repeat, without a doubt.

Everything's perfect to disconnect completely

It's the perfect place to disconnect with friends for a few days. The house is in perfect condition, and very well equipped. A very peaceful place and well located for sightseeing, although access is complicated. Eulalia has been very attentive from the first moment and helped us get to the house the first day so that we didn't get so complicated to arrive. The house is ideal and the attention is a 10. Wonderful views.

Magical location. Beautiful home. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the little things that Ruben had prepared ie Lovely wash products, coffee pods, washing detergent, even a small olive oil to cook with. Can only highly recommend. Maybe the nicest rental I've used!

Would definitely like to stay there again - it’s a beautiful area with stunning views, and the accommodation fits in perfectly - as well we being maintained to a very high standard. The wood burner was an extra bonus - which made it the perfect break for us

It is a beautiful village house, renovated and well cared for and it was also very clean. We loved its interior, tastefully decorated, and its exterior in a very charming and quiet village. The children have played in the meadows, super happy.

Amazing stunning location! So sweet. Yes, it’s a journey to get there, but it’s worth it. And the sweet villagers makes the whole experience even more special. Stunning views, perfect detox retreat!

This was a lovely stay, tucked away from the usual tourist path. Most importantly, we absolutely loved the hosts. They welcomed us with a pour of cider they brewed themselves in their shed, and it truly felt like coming home to your Spanish aunt and uncle’s house. The accommodations were great — a clean, well-kept space with a bedroom, kitchen, and living room. There’s free parking right next to the house, which made things easy. Heads up: the drive there can be a little confusing. You’ll probably feel like the GPS is taking you the wrong way, but just trust it and keep going. The road winds up a mountain to a tiny village at the top, and it’s worth the trek. The only real downside was that there weren’t any restaurants within walking distance. But it was a short drive to nearby towns with great food options. This is a perfect spot if you want to get off the beaten path and experience a more local, authentic side of Spain.

Mayte has been attentive at all times to make our stay a pleasant time. Communication has been easy from the moment you arrive. Maybe we lacked some detail like garbage bags, but we didn't say it either, so that was more of our thing, since Mayte responded 10 to everything we communicated and asked in a very correct and quick way. The house is very nice, recently renovated, well equipped and clean. I recommend Mayte as a host and her home as a very good option to spend a few days in the eastern area of Asturias. Very quiet and very close to Picos de Europa, beaches, places of tourist and natural interest, and cities such as Llanes and Ribadesella a few minutes away. If I had to go back in the area I would repeat.

We loved staying here while we hiked and explored Picos de Europa. It is a very special place. The apt is probably best suited for two people, or a small family. It has large windows, and the views from the terrace and inside are both spectacular - mountains, clouds, fields, houses of Potes. Gorgeous. We loved how the views changed with the different weather. We enjoyed the neighbors tending their gardens, watching the local cats prowl, seeing the horses and the chickens. It was a lovely mix of rural countryside but being in a neighborhood. Potes is very charming. Restaurants, bars, and a small supermarket are an easy walk away. We were conscientious about noise when our windows were open, given the close proximity of neighbors. The cross breeze with windows open was great, but there is no air con, fyi. We needed to park on a nearby street because the driveway was too steep for our car, but this was no problem. Excellent place. We look forward to another visit!

Charming cottage in the countryside, perfect for relaxing and connecting with nature. It is renovated and decorated with great taste and functionality, but it also preserves ancient and traditional elements that made the experience authentic. Clara gave us many recommendations for walks nearby (the location is great for exploring that part of Asturias), but spending time in the casita playing board games or just looking at the field, they were great plans itself. An excellent stay, we highly recommend it!!

Our stay at Adrian's place was amazing - Adrian's mother and father checked us in and were SO helpful in welcoming us, providing recommendations, answering any questions, and helping us with directions, check-in, etc. While their house is hard to get to (steep, narrow winding roads), it is incredibly worth it as the view is stunning! It is peaceful, serene, mystical, and more. We would love to come back!

Overall the property was everything we expected with good excess to the exceptional beaches in the area. Also the hike located on the mountain behind the house gave a great view of the coastline. The property provides excellent value for the money.

The surroundings were gorgeous and the home perfect for our needs as two couples. Appreciated having ample plates and utensils, washer, clothesline, hot showers, ample deck, clean. warm blankets and very friendly and helpful host.

Jorge was attentive, friendly and proactive - always coming up with great suggestions for local trips. The house itself was wonderful and the views are breathtaking! It's difficult to do those mountains justice in photographs... If you're looking for a peaceful base that's within easy reach of the Picos and the coast then look no further. We hope to be back some day!
