Holiday houses in Saint Mary-of-the-Woods

I have stayed here before and enjoyed it so much I came back for 12 more days. It’s a nice house in a small town. All the comforts of home. I actually grew up in Clinton and it still seems like a safe town. Downtown isn’t as bustling as it used to be lol but there are a few things within walking distance. We enjoyed the backyard and the screened in front porch. The place is exactly as she describes.

Wonderful communication from the host, clear instructions sent out before hand, absolutely my favorite cabin in the woods trip to date! I've done this 1-2 times a year for the past few years, and Anna's kitchen was by far the best stocked I've seen, incredibly appreciative of this! The only thing of note is a couple of the nails in the flooring were up and could have been a potential painful step, but I would 100% recommend this stay and would absolutely stay here again myself!

We have a family of seven and there was plenty of room for all of us to camp out here. The time flew by fast as they have a lake on property with plenty to do (kayaking, swimming, fishing). The hosts were very friendly and helpful all the way through the entire stay. They had all the amenities for a comfortable visit. We definitely recommend this place and will be back again. What stood out the most to me is that you can see the galaxies at night very clearly from the property and it was very quiet and private. The tents were very clean, comfortable, and our children enjoyed camping out. The tents come with air conditioning, many plug ins, along with lighting and a small fridge. The beds were very comfortable. There is a double restroom and shower on site that is private to your own camp, which is connected to city water. There is a bait shop and stores within 3 miles from the camp site. There is also a state park not far away (Shakamak). We highly recommend this property

Great location near boat launch if you are there for use of lake. Springtime lake is often flooded water levels 35 ft. Above normal,not good for fishing, very tight driveway for parking boat & living quarters are up a steep stairway, so if you can,t do stairs be aware. Beautiful place, patio is up in tree tops with view of water , Bill is very helpful & fast to respond. Overall great spot, would be perfect for kayakers!

I found out I was going to have a weekend off after 4 months. I decided I needed to get away to sometime more peaceful. We had been to the area in the past to visit the Inidana State Sanatorium and my son wanted to go for another visit. I stumbled upon Andrea's place, and it was pet friendly. My first time bringing my pooches. Her property is beautiful and everything I was looking for. The home is spacious and clean. I loved the outside sitting areas. Good place to listen to nature, the small river and have a cup of coffee in the morning, or have a relaxing drink in the evening. There are a few paddle boats on the property. So much fun! And a swimming hole on the other side. Andrea is a lovely host, so friendly and happy to know you're enjoying yourself and the space she provides. I would definitely recommend her property and would love to visit again when I need some time away

This is definitely a place. I will be coming back to probably one of the best Airbnb‘s I’ve ever stayed at. I loved the dogs also they’re so friendly. I felt like I made new friends at this place.

This house was perfect for our girls’ weekend. Plenty of comfortable spaces to hang out both inside and outside. Comfy beds. Overall very peaceful, which is exactly what we needed!

The cabin was incredible, loved everything about it and location. The only thing negative I would say is that there needs to be a dresser and bigger night stand in the downstairs bedroom to accommodate your clothes and other things you bring. That’s it, perfect other than that. Plan to revisit in the future.

We loved it! Great location, a big car park next door, clean and loads of room, short walk to restaurants and easy access to Depauw if you are visiting. The host was fantastic and left us some nice snacks 😃 We’d love to come back!
