What a wonderful, peaceful oasis! The treehouse at the Shire is just incredible! The hosts were very welcoming and communicative. The grounds and property are just stunning. There are also trails and a trail map to adventure on the property. They also have a very sweet pup, Bo, who became best friends with my dogs (after a friendly introduction and me asking if he was free to play). I can’t say enough positive things about this place! Great location to hike and have a peaceful respite, but close to restaurants too! Also, LGBTQ+ friendly!

Great place for a rustic but comfortable stay. Everything was as described, stream behind the house allowed for lovely background nature noise the whole trip, but could close windows if you didn’t want it. Easy in and out, well stocked with the basics. Would rent again!

Dave is such a kind and welcoming host! He is great with communication. The place is such a nice and cozy space to relax and enjoy the nature around you. I used fire pit for both nights I was there and it was so peaceful to sit by while hearing the water from the brook. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Really nice little cottage! Super cozy and with everything you need. In a nice area, with the beach really close. Would stay again!

Came for the Fall colors; left in love with the place! Small but delightful. Cluttered in the most fantastical way. Nestled in paradise. Bonnie is so nice and friendly! Pay attention to the fact that the toilet is not attached to house. Short walk to privet and very clean!

Beautiful place. Lovely decorated. I would say that it is probably a little expensive for staying there in the winter/ fall time. Only one of us could sit on the couch at a time due to its location by the tv. The shower is really small and there is no room for toiletries in the bathroom at all. There is a rack but I had to keep all my bathroom stuff in bags the entire time because it is just lacking in space. I would think The price is worth it if you’re staying there in the summer and get to use the lake.

What a great find! This adorable, cozy cabin in an absolute oasis of a yard, was perfect for my short stay in Portland. Darcy and Jennifer were wonderful hosts! Their communication was helpful and friendly. I loved meeting them and getting a tour of the garden. The cabin was so cozy and had everything I expected. They were very clear about the bathroom situation - composting toilet and schedule a shower at the main house - so my expectations were managed. I was able to Uber into Portland for a wonderful night on the town with some friends and then make the quick trip to the airport in the morning. I would definitely stay here again!

The Dollhouse was amazing. We immediately felt right at home. We walked to town in 7 minutes and it was 1.5 miles from the venue we were going to. It was very peaceful to sit on the front porch swing and relax. The space was immaculately clean and comfortable. There were many extra blankets and pillows and the beds were extremely comfortable and cozy. There is a little back room off the kitchen to sit and relax as well. We made food and all amenities needed were at hand. There is ample parking. Loved our time here. Thank you Susan!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ashleigh’s cabin! Everything was fantastic—the view, the amenities, and the cabin itself. It provided everything we were looking for, making us feel like we were on a retreat. The sunrise was beautiful, and the sounds of the river and nature made our experience perfect. I highly recommend it!

Incredibly place to relax and unwind…. All the extra touches to an already stunning view made this a place to never want to leave. The cottage was perfectly cleaned and stocked and the hosts were kind and responsive. Will be back.

A wonderful couple and cute shack under the stars! I really enjoyed my stay at the Shackhilton. Karen and Peter were very friendly and came out to help me get settled and kept me entertained with great banter. The place was very clean and cozy. I would definitely go back!

My husband and i absolutely love Pittsburg and back lake and Chantels place is perfect . We will def be back

This charming tiny house is beautiful and cozy. The location is perfect peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet still conveniently close to Sackville’s lovely downtown area with its cute cafés and scenic trails.

Très bel endroit pour relaxer. On peut même entendre la rivière quand on est dehors. les installations sont super aussi! Valérie répondait toujours rapidement en cas de questionnement et les instructions données à l'avance étaient précises. Je le suggère à toute personne qui veut relaxer en mode solo ou en couple. 🙌🏼

I booked this after booking tickets to a nearby show. I was going to cancel, but wasn’t able to sell the tickets. So, I went to New Hampshire, and I’m SOO glad I did! The road noise (hwy) was evident when outside. But, it’s not so much that I won’t book again. I loved the coffee / tea set up. ( coffee pour over 🥰 if you don’t know, use the google)! I didn’t even use the pre brewed espresso I bought! Most importantly; As soon as I entered the cottage I felt a great sense of calm & peace. I booked a solo stay and felt very safe throughout my stay. The smoke detector was chirping & Lance was there to fix it literally within a minute! Had a couple of good conversations with him; I definitely plan to book again!

We had a very brief but enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend Kimberly‘s place to anyone coming from out of town. It’s an adorable, well appointed tiny house on beautiful grounds. It’s so quiet, down a long dirt road, and really enjoyed getting away for a night. This place is perfect for a little romantic getaway, especially when it started to snow!

Nous avons loué le petit chalet 2 jours pour aller faire de la randonnée autour. Très belle place et spacieux. Avec le temps froid, le chauffage fonctionnait très bien dans le chalet . Nous avons bien apprécié notre petit séjour. Une seule petite chose…Les lanternes à la batterie devraient être à changer car elles faisait des « flash » constamment et éclairaient moyennement. Nous allons revenir sans faute. Merci!

Very clean, quaint space. The place was exactly as pictured looking out over the gorgeous water. Meghan had a great list of activities to do near her Airbnb.

This is a cute little tiny house with all the necessities. The kitchen is well equipped and the outdoor patio is very peaceful. The bed is very comfortable and the assortment of DVDs was helpful. It is a quiet place where you can rest and unwind!

My visit at the Tiny Library was my first ever solo trip and it did not disappoint! The library is homey and adorable, full of high quality decor and utilities. The covered hot tub on a rainy night could cure just about anything. The tiny home is right down the street from a beautiful lake for scenery. Kari answered any and all questions I had in record time. I appreciated how detailed and proactive she was. Really loved my time at the library ❤️

We really enjoyed Richard's cabin for a "change of pace" night. The dogs enjoyed the pond and surroundings. We enjoyed the propane heater in the cabin (since it was a rather rainy, dreary day). I'm sorry we didn't have firewood, as it would have been nice to make a fire in the fire ring, but all in all, it was charming, peaceful and had just enough amenities to make it comfortable. I was surprised that the cost was about the same as the other other places we stayed in Vermont and New Hampshire that had full amenities plus breakfast.

Michael and Kali were wonderful hosts and the stay was a beautiful home and area, peaceful and private. We had a lovely time and look forward to staying there again someday! They made us feel at home and not alone with providing local suggestions, friendly/flexible responses and a clean comfortable home for us during our visit! Highly recommend this place!
