Guesthouse holiday rentals in Saint Lawrence River

A very comfortable and cozy place to use as we attended Bowdoin College's reunion weekend. We didn't get to spend any time, really, in Harpswell because the weekend was filled with activities. We are hoping that our travels will take us to Brunswick again so that the next time we can stay with Bill and Aylane and explore the area around their home.

This was our second stay here and it could not have been better! Beautiful view. Relaxing, quiet and Dorothy has thought of everything! She and Norm are the perfect hosts! Pleasant to visit with and not at all intrusive! They are happy to suggest places to go, do and eat! We day tripped every day somewhere new! We’ll be back!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I don’t think the pictures do it justice! If you are looking for an authentic Vermont experience, look no further, the cabin is so dialed, it’s in an idilic setting, super quiet and a ton of privacy but very close to town and anything you’d need. In the summer, at night, leave the windows open and enjoy the sound of the brook and stream directly below the cabin! Highly recommended!!

If you’re looking for peace n serenity this is the spot! Cabin was clean and well stocked and our dogs had a blast running up n down the trails! Roy was very accommodating for us and our dogs…only downside for us is that one of our pups is not very dog friendly so we had to be aware of Roy’s cute labs and make sure they weren’t out when we let our girls out. Highly recommend!!

We had a great stay at Rockhaven! What a beautiful spot with a magnificent sunset from the dock! We hope to go back next time we need a place to stay in the Lake Champlain area.

Valentina's cottage is a real gem....spotlessly clean, and SO comfortable. Valentine is a great host who has thought of everything....even supplying some tasty snacks. I can thoroughly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hilary’s place. It was clean and was in a perfect location, quiet and on the water yet minutes from the Old Port and rest of the city. Hilary was a great host and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

Super cute little cabin. Wished we could have stayed more than one night. The kitchen was well stocked and the den was nice and cozy with lots of stuff to do for both adults and kids (games, movies, etc.). Lovely outdoor setting. Richard was very nice and proactive with communication.

Veronique’s loft apartment was a great place for my family of 4 to stay at! Having the accommodation to sleep 4 along with 2 full bathrooms was a huge plus. The neighbourhood was very quaint & peaceful with a variety of restaurants & shops nearby. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we were in the area. Veronique is a great host and her dining recommendations are spot on. She was extremely responsive in communicating and made sure that my family & I were very comfortable!

Very modern APT located on a nice property , brain is very friendly and turn on the AC and lights before we check in. Close to Tesla supercharger and Acadia NP

We came for a cozy ‘writer’s getaway’ vibe and the large windows, forest/mountain views, wood decor and very comfortable couches delivered. We were using this location as a base for hiking mt Washington. Amidst altering our plans for the weather, this provided the perfect level of relaxation to set us up to tackle the mountain the next day. For our uses the location was a little farther away but we opted for this as it had the vibes we were looking for. The host provided clear communication and was very easy to find. Would stay again for sure.

Nancy was so helpful and kind through our whole stay. She was sweet enough to pull our toys for our son, help us set up things, and meet any accommodations we wanted. She made the place feel like our own home. The place was so clean and looked just like the photos. You are tucked away on the end of a road and have a gorgeous view of the water. Such a peaceful stay! Would highly recommend to others!

Very clear instructions, great shower and great location for us on our road trip through Maine. We really apprieciated there was coffee and some snacks as well, especially when our kids got us up early! Very happy with our stay - thank you!

Stephanie's place was an oasis of peace and calm while assisting my father getting surgery at Dartmouth Hitchcock. I actually took the bus to the area and the local free bus is great, with a stop right at the end of the block. really enjoyed sitting in the swing and watching the hens!

Steve’s place is an absolute dream! Everything was exactly as pictured and described. We only stayed one night, but hope we can return for another soon!

Suzanne is a extremely great host and very easy to communicate with , the cottage was very clean and well taken care of, everything a person needs is included, very peaceful , clean and quiet surroundings just made it that much more comfortable , felt like a real vacation that a person doesn't really ever want to leave, hope it will still be available when we decide to come back on vacation again. I give her and her cottage 5 thumbs up 👍

Jean-Yves and Carol were lovely hosts full of recommendations and very responsive to questions. The cottage was beautifully decorated and even though it was basically in the back yard to their house, we still had lots of privacy. We brought our two dogs and there was lots of green space to walk them. We used both the upstairs bed and the downstairs sofa bed and both were super comfy. We hope to visit again someday.

our 4th stay and it just keeps getting better . the most beautiful loft with peaceful surroundings & pam and frank are the friendliest hosts . feels like we’re visiting friends every time ! can’t wait to be back .

Peter and Toby were very kind hosts. The Braeburn retreat is a beautiful space with great amenities and a homey feel. No need to be worried about if you packed what you need because they have so much covered! It was a chilly, rainy weekend so we took full advantage of the stove, fire pit, and extra blankets. Even with it being situated across from the host’s home, it still felt private when in the backyard space. Just be ready to have some dog guests when you arrive and while you’re grilling.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The basement apartment was clean, large, and comfortable and we felt safe in the neighborhood. It is a short drive to many major attractions in QC.

Beautiful place to stay at an affordable price! I recommend wholeheartedly. Host was friendly and helpful. The space was clean. I couldn’t have asked for a better place.

The Loft is a great spot and we had a very relaxing weekend. The goal was to hike, but with heavy rain, the sauna and the town of Keene were great to have right there.

Erica’s place was wonderful. It was a tiny home but had everything we needed for evenings after hiking and exploring Acadia. The home is tucked away and private, with lots of wildlife. We saw twelve deer on our first day! The drive to/from the home is also absolutely gorgeous. Stop by Carrying Beach <3.

Beautiful older bulding in a quieter part of Sackville. The yard and area were especially nice during a spring visit. Lots of beautiful flowers and spring peeper frogs around. The airbnb is very well stocked and taken care of. Any time I could think of something I wanted, it was already there (for example yoga mats, extra blankets on the couch). The fresh flowers on the dining table were a thoughtful touch. I stayed here without a vehicle and it was still very walkable to downtown, or over to the lake in the other direction.
