This is an old private house in the middle of Sado City, Niigata Prefecture, in the Shinho district of Kuninaka Plain.We renovated a 130-year-old traditional Japanese house built in the Meiji era and opened it as an accommodation facility.A short walk from the inn, you can see the Kuninaka Plain with its rice fields and see the Akitsuru dance.The owner is a rice farmer, but also runs the Sado Nature School, which navigates the nature of Sado.You can also observe the clear starry sky of Sado while listening to the owner's commentary.Please enjoy the nature of Sado and spend a relaxing time.

The perfect house for those looking for a bit of quiet and time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. “Asahi” was originally a “Minka,” a traditional Japanese folk house, which we remodeled a few years ago. “Asahi” is one out of three houses on our property and as we rent “Asahi” in its entirety, you’ll be able to enjoy the comforts of your own privacy. The house is comfortable for two but can easily accommodate up to four guests.
