Our freshly renovated (early 2025), bright basement apartment is close to the city, yet right on the edge of nature. Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on a hill (approx. 75 m elevation), it’s cool in summer, calm, and cozy year-round. The 25 sqm space includes a bedroom with kitchenette, a small bathroom with shower, and a south-facing window overlooking our natural garden. We live upstairs with our two young kids (4 & 6) and are happy to help with tips during your stay!

Our cozy apartment for max. 2 people is located in the beautiful village of 66663 Merzig-Brotdorf. Brotdorf is, among other things, the departure point for many bike rides in the Saarland. Due to the central location, many excursion locations can be reached in a short time. Beautiful hiking trails are also in the immediate vicinity. We look forward to hosting you soon. Hoover, iron and ironing board are also in the flat. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer. The flat has a balcony with a view of the Saar loop and the Hochwald. The balcony is furnished with sun loungers, chairs with cushions, a parasol and a charcoal barbecue.

The flat has a new kitchen, a bright bathroom (bathtub + shower), a cosy living room with a double sofa bed (140cm) and a large terrace with access to the courtyard. Next to it there is a study and a bedroom with a large bed (200cm) decorated with stucco work. Stay in the most beautiful farmhouse in Saarland. The house was built before 1830 and completely renovated in the early 2000s, in the old style but with modern technology. Our house is the winner of the 2006 Farmhouse Competition. Our approx. 50 square meter apartment is lovingly equipped with a sleeping gallery and living room (sleeps 4), kitchenette with dishwasher, underfloor heating, etc.
