Great for meet n greet with mates or a quiet dinner for 2. Kid friendly and if you need something to do on a wet day they have board games available to play. Large outside play area for kids too. Rising Tide offer weekly deals, happy hours and live music. If you going as a group you can ph them for a booking. My Fav!

Cant leave town until you have been to the iconic Mt Maunganui (Mauao) this is the Taonga (treasure) of living in Mt Maunganui. You can stroll around the base track just over 3 km and take in the amazing scenery of the Harbour, the Chanel and Matakana Island around to Mt Maunganui Main Beach. Well maintained track which you can take a push chair or wheel chair around over three quarters of the way if you start from the Main Beach side and travel anticlockwise. A set of stairs near the end of this track means turning around and heading back or carrying a buggy up a set of stairs. For those joggers lovely run track or brave summiting this iconic Mountain.
