Its less than 7 minutes drive away, has a great playground for the kids, a beautiful, still estuary where it is safe for the kids to swim, often brimming with fish, a beautiful boardwalk through the mangroves and rainforest walk, paddle boards available to hire and a great coffee shop (Dune Cafe), an off lead dog beach for the dogs to run around in, and a superb beach to surf at (palm Beach) - all in one spot!
